  4. How about the strikezone overlay, can it be removed (erased)somehow while still leaving it on in the game settings? My reason for this is I like using batters eye (the text thing) but don't like playing with the strikezone on.

  9. How do the portrait #'s in Ty's editor correspond to the #'s in the portrait.iff file? For instance Tim Lincecum is #6526 in ty's editor but how do you find his pic in the portrait.iff?

  12. Has anyone successfully done global edits with Ty's editor? I've been trying to edit some ratings globally but keep getting corrupt message when I try to load the roster in game.

  16. How the heck do you move players from team to team with this editor. I change a player, eg. Upton to team id #4 save the roster. I then load in game and and he is still on the D-Backs and if I try to assign him to the braves it says he's already on that team, WtF??? ps: Seems as though all that happens when I assign him to the braves is he goes to the D-backs bench, he now lists as the 25 man on the roster. IF I use a different roster and assign him to the braves with the in game roster he shows as team id #4 in the editor. This shouldn't be that hard??
  17. You've always been able to just start the game as long as living rosters are on and your connected to the internet. I choose to use my bat file that turns the clock back, I just double click on that.
  18. Mine shows oct2 as well. Doesn't matter if I turn the clock back or not.

  20. Whoa, that sounds like it will be one great roster! On a side note were you ever able to locate the portrait id's in the .iff file?
  21. Sent you an email, hope it helps a bit. Here are a couple threads from 2k9 that will help, I think most of the controls are likely the same.   22. I d/l the latest Modtool and I seem to be able to open most .iff files but for some reason I can't open the Global.iff. After I select the file I get the option to decompress so I select yes but it doesn't open, it does make the temp file but other than that nothing. I'm running windowws7 64 bit, is there any chance I need the 64 bit java installed. Still makes no sense that i can open other iff like portrait, gamedata etc etc. Oh and by the way I d/l Pena1 accessory pak which contains a global.iff and I can open his just fine. Like I said very strange.

  24. Me again. Check this thread, it's from 2k10 but maybe some of the numbers still match. In it the OP Tony3 mentions about a text file in the portrait.iff file that shows these numbers. http://www.mvpmods.c...98&hl=sheffield I just opened the portrait.iff and see no signs of any text just pics so i'm not sure how he found those.
  25. I'll give it a try. As far as removing the K zone I was thinking maybe there was a away to edit it out much like the modders here have d/l's that get rid of the arrows when pitching etc.
