TheMadcap
Just downloaded Pirate, damn you, now I have to shell out 100 bucks for a new graphics card! (I've had to for awhile, your stadiums are too much to miss out on)

awesome
it looked awesome during the day, but it may have crashed before going into a night game will repost after installing it again, may have downloaded incomplete
Pirate
Keep me updated on this. I had that problem early, but thought I had ratted it out. Almost 300 DLs and first crash complaint. I hope it was an incomple DL.
Jim825
I had the same problem when I tried playing a night game. I selected the night version and the game crashed. I then restarted the game, selected everything the same (teams, pitchers, night version of Ameriquest) and this time it came up just fine. The Ameriquest stadium files are pretty large, so perhaps when the game crashed I didn't have enough resources, but after restarting, there were enough. Pirate
Dammit I tested it a lot. I will look at this again.
capa
Night version comes in at over 18mb and I know the larger stadiums can cause crashes based on memory avail, video cards, etc. Happened all the time with the Anaheim stadium someone did that came in at 22mb... Pirate
The night version shouldn't be larger than the day by that much though.
tebjr
I downloaded Ameriquest and have had no problems so far. great work Pirate.
capa
I think it is 6mb bigger...I'd have to check though...
Pirate
You're right there is an additional graphics file in the night. That would make it rather cumbersome. Maybe I can reduce it.
krawhitham
I have not had any problems, but I did compress these 3 files in both day and nite versions cram32.fsh mstadium.ord mstadium.orl the final size of the stadiums had 1 meg difference in size 6,029,791 & 5,007,
Sean O
Kevin Kennedy, raging moron, just stated that "I don't know if the left field wall [at Ameriquest] is 38', but it was modeled after Fenway so it's pretty tall." Actual left field wall height? 14 feet. He's not even close.
Jim825
Dammit I tested it a lot. I will look at this again. Don't kill yourself over this. Naturally, you could only test this on YOUR PC, and not everyone else's. That's what makes PC modding so tricky in that no two systems are exactly alike (CPU speed, memory, free resources, etc.). mrmariner
Nice stadium, I just happened to be playing my Mariners against Texas when I downloaded your version and can say that I have not had any problems with it. Very good job!
awesome
yeah, what happens is that the "stadium screen" (i.e. selector) takes a while to load on the night version -- let it go through the motions and you're fine
