I have like 22 met files, i have this ltitle application i whipped up to check if the player ids are unique in met files i get. So when you sent me the 41 yanks, i compared it with all the met files i have, and the player ids were unique. Same with the 41 redsox, and same with 73Angels. Unique Id's. yankees1979 Posted June 29, 2004 Share Posted June 29, 2004 one thing i noticed when creating teams. some old players are already in the game but we dont use them. example...jimmie fox is in the game on the legends team. what i shouldve done when i created the 41 red sox was input his portrait # and face # along with batting stance on the player created in the met but not alter the stats or power rankings for that year. i will check all my teams and then create an updated met file for each. this will make it more fun to play. we also need to look at pitching style too. i just remembered that on the 73 angels i updated nolan ryan, because he's alredy in the game, but i didnt change the pitching style. i'll do that as well. Would you be interested in including that team instead if the 1964 Cubs, since the Cubs weren't all that great that year, and the 1969 Cubs have many of the same players?
