Sean, did you ever add that scoreboard in? I've tried looking at your stadiums in OEdit, but I can never get a workable .o file from them.

what .o file are you trying to open? try both removable.o and mstadium.o. Maybe Sean switched them like Pirate suggests in his tutorial

I think I used both in Candlestick, but most everything will be in removable.o.

After loading up Candlestick earlier today, it really does need some work. Hopefully I can give it some TLC after everything quiets down around here.

Sean, I saw you said you had 3 days off and I wondered if this was something you were considering working on during that time.

Oooohh Seeeeaaaaaannnnnn? :D

Right now, I'm way burnt out. Fortunately, Pirate seems like he is interested in fixing up a lot of my old parks, so it looks like he's the best bet for finally integrating the old scoreboard into Candlestick.

me, I'm gonna take the paulw route and play a ton of tiger woods, and maybe even some mvp for a while.

Sean, I tried taking a look at it and I still can't get the stadium to load in OEdit. I tried both mstadium and removable and neither creates a usable .o file.

What program do you use to pack/unpack the .ord/.orl files and do you recompress them when you use them?

Wait a minute! Do you mean to tell me that we can actually play MVP?

I thought all we were able to do was mod the game. It never occurred to me that I could actually play now and then!

It's kind of funny that the only playing I ever do in mvp is with the portland sea dogs, with the keyboard, one pitch at a time. Open MVP, throw or swing at a pitch, hit replay so I can take a look around the park, alt-tab back to oedit, make changes, pack it, close and repeat.

hcl, I just use gfxpak and a ton of .bat files. It's weird that it is not working for you, really quite strange. Not sure what to suggest, apart from perhaps using a variety of different ways to find one that works?

My experience has been very similar: Select an exhibition game, verify that the logos look OK, check the uniform select screens, check the stadium select screen, watch the players as they run out onto the field and verify that the uniforms look OK, play an inning or two to listen to the audio and see the faces, exit the game and repeat.

On top of that, this is all done on a laptop with on-board graphics. It will be quite a shock to see how nice things look on my regular gaming PC once I start playing again.

Sean, I've found that the problem may lie in the .orl file. I just tried opening Pirates Fulton County stadium and as with yours EAGraph says that the .orl files aren't a proper format (for EAGraph) and asks if I want to open it in hex-editor.

I got the same results trying to create a .o file from his stadium as I do yours.

Sean, I absolutely love your parks, they make playing a full season dynasty a little bit easier because I can always change my stadiums around. But since I don't have the ability to download TC because my network won't let me download files that large, would it be possible to upload more of your stadiums done for TC in the downloads section? There are some that I really really want.

Expect a major update to LA Wrigley for the '61 project soon, after I started from scratch and completely rebuilt it. Just need to import the alphablend from fenway classic and edit wall.dat and we'll be good to go.

Now, I sleep.

SeanO, will this be included in TC 7?

It's really up to the TC folks. If they want it, like all of my parks, it's theirs.

Frankly if the '61 mod was never made, I probably wouldn't have even bothered with LA Wrigley. It's about as minor a ballpark as anything ever used since the deadball era, with nothing really interesting apart from the incredibly short alley distances.

Strange that you say that, I always though LA Wrigley was an intriguing park and I think its great to see it in MVP.
