Nightwing also dragged the entire extraction into the data folder and we also had smooth games with no problems. so if it works, I say stick with it. I think you should try it.... Immac Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 OK I played a game and put MDs datafile.txt (the one that has default everything.) in the data directory, and it worked great. But only after we both had identical datafile.big files. Now, the thing with MD's datafile .zip is when I extract it, it doesn't go into one big folder. You're done. Also make sure you didn't mess with your datafile.big like I did or you're gonna be in a world of trouble. Also I think it would be a good idea to play this league on All-Star as Pro is too high scoring and MVP is just impossible to pitch on with that little sliver for a target. IMO the pitching meter target is small enough in the datafile. Especially if we're gonna use All-Star mode. My biggest concern is a lack of balls thrown in the zone accidentally. The last thing we want is less than 70% of pitches thrown in the strike zone. That will create problems beyond belief and make hitting such a beating, taking the fun out of the game. Ultimately no one will want to play if they aren't having fun. I just speak from IP to IP League expirence. Maybe sending each member an email asking them to vote on the issue is a good idea? Obviously being able to see the cursor gives you a much better chance at hitting the strike zone. Just having the cursor fade away after a few seconds is good enough imo. If you're not quick to make a decision on your location then you lose the cursor and just have to aim by game controller feel. We need your AIM info Keith Not to be a nag on the issue but you can still pitch off the plate with the cursor. IMHO it would be easier to pitch off the plate with the cursor, you know for sure if you hit the target the ball will not be down the middle. I think if guys are having trouble without the cursor then they will be more likely to groove a pitch just to throw a strike.
