I was wondering if Sammy would put one out against his old team. I see he got around on the pitch.

Yeah, it totally surprised me. He was pretty quiet up until this point in the game.

I tried to bust him high and tight, and he absolutely drilled it.

Good job Jr!

Off-topic: bad news about my dynasty... it will start in july and not in june as I said because the guy that is working with the schedules wont be here in 2 weeks because he has to do something about his work (travel to other country) and in june 29 im maybe going to california (Los Angeles and Anaheim) Ill be back in july 3... I hope at that time the schedule will be done.

Jr, That was nice. Good Game and cool videos. Mr. Jones came through.

Thanks, ALB. That was actually a decent game, alot of fun. One thing I've noticed over the course of the season, this team takes a while to get it in gear.

But things are looking good, I've inched my way within 4 1/2 games of first place. ;)

Supposedly there is another trade in the works:

Cubs could send Sean Marshall and Jacque Jones to the Reds for Ken Griffey Jr.

lol...That would be great for JR's Dynasty but not for the Real Cubs organization as (Lefty) Marshall is getting better and Griffey only has about 2yrs left.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I haven't heard this yet, but I could definately use Junior's bat.

Griffey in right field?

I can see it. :)

Interesting on the Griffey trade. Sean Marshall is doing well down in Triple-A for me in my dynasty. I would bring him up, but my lefty starters are doing great.

*I would gladly put a Cubbie uniform on Jr. though. :wtg:

Hey, M. If you have time, do you mind to shoot me Marshall's numbers in your dynasty?

I believe I posted his W-L, ERA, K's in the "Closer Look" section in my latest dynasty update.

*Here you go JR:

Sean Marshall: 50.1 IP, 4-3, 2.68 era, 39K's/16BB

Possible Players Cubs are getting for Barrett: Rob Bowen and Scott Linebrink

Don't know much about Bowen but Linebrink is a very good setup man...

Thanks, ALB. If you hear ANYTHING, please let me know.

Thanks man. :)

Jay, looks like Linebrink has a very high possibility of becoming a Cub, but I just can't believe the Padres would trade such a reliever. He has been phenomenal so far for them.

EDIT: Looks like you won't be missing Barrett too much. Guess Lou would be happy to get rid of that .242 batting average right?

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. I don't know if I would hold my breath on that one, but it is possible.

I have a feeling this trade is the subject of 'clubhouse chemistry', if you know what I mean. Barrett seems to have a chip on his shoulder.

Something tells me Bard is on his way to Chicago.

Thanks, M. Those are decent numbers. It seems "our" pitching staff is more than solid this year.

...still waiting on that Griffey bat. :)

It definitely would be a great addition to have Griffey in right, at least in your dynasty, that way you can bench Floyd (not too fond of him after his breaking of the rules  )

But, you know if the Reds trade Griffey at this moment, I think the number of fans going to the Great American Ballpark would reduce to zero. If I were a Reds fan, I wouldn't see any point in going to the park at all with Griffey not in the lineup.
