BigDaddyCool Posted June 26, 2007 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Memories of Chris Benoit: Two of the best matches I think I have ever seen involved Chris Benoit, and both were when he was in WCW. One was a "Last Man Standing" match between Benoit and Dean Malenko. The match went back and forth, back and forth until Benoit stood up at the 9.5 count. The other was a tribute match to the late Owen Hart between Benoit and Bret Hart. It went on for about 30 minutes or so before they both got the other in their signature submission hold. Hart got out of the Crippler Crossface, and Benoit tapped out to the Sharpshooter. Afterwards the two friends embraced in the middle of the ring. I still have that match on tape and I will never erase it. A concerned neighbor called police. The bodies were found in three different rooms. The lead investigator, Sheriff's Lt.
