It's a little better than MVP 2004 because there seems to be more variety. I currently have started on Great American Ball Park and have completed a Wrigley mod. Ad replacement is a term I use to mean that you can only replace a texture in the game with another texture. That you can change the actual UV Map of the texture. So, yes, it doesn't mean just ads.
