Baseup! Rosters (All-Star Break 2014)

question guys Jarrod Dyson has a face number of 766...def not him did we release a dyson cyberface?

also hank conger has a face i guess we just never assigned a number for him

When you searched for a Dyson cyberface, what did you get?

There is a Conger face, but he has no number. The face looks like it was done by someone who's been banned. It's pretty awful. Besides, he's a backup catcher typically.

Thanks..... YYHMST said he was releasing one soon along with about 3 others. You can temporarily change the face number in the attrib.dat file / slot 10.

You're correct.... seeing him as primarily LRP for Toronto. He'll be in the trade deadline set.

Players listed as "out indefinitely" at time of deadline will be placed in Single A, so that they can be easily moved back to major league squad if wanted. Players listed as not returning until 2015 or later will remain in FA pool.

Thanks Oscar for the kind words.

Another new feature I'll be implementing involves the Star Power. This one has always bugged me. Came across BWARP and PWARP ratings page/team on the Baseball Prospectus site. Basically, only a few players per team will be rated with "some" star power and above. Therefore, a majority of the players will have no star power. I'm not exactly sure what star power does, but all things being equal, I now have a way to have a relative rating across the board.

Addendum: After compiling this, here are the results

Awesome - 28 players (1%)....(3.5% of MLB)

Lots - 30 players (1%)....(3.5% of MLB)

Average - 113 players (3.5%)....(13% of MLB)

Some - 171 players (5.5%)....(~19% of MLB)

None - 2,734 players (~89%)....(61% of MLB)
