Need Audio/ID for Yoervis Medina.
-
I'll include that in the next "patch" which will hopefully be out by Saturday. Looks like he was originally listed that way because he pitched in '11.
-
You would see both of those corrected in the 1st patch and will then be there subsequently.
-
I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Batting/pitching changes won't happen until the later release. Although Scherzer will be getting an upgrade in this release.
-
I will put in the cyberfaces assigned by kyleb for the official list. I'm not sure how well mixing the files will work.
-
I'll be doing one more update after the trade dead line is settled today. The difference with this one will be that players listed as of last night as having SEASON ENDING injuries and are definitely indicated as not returning until next year will be moved to the FA pool. This will include players suspended for the rest of this season minimally, namely, Ryan Braun and Alex Rodriguez (who as far as I'm concerned is as good as gone). The next update will most likely be late August /early Sept, when I'll be doing major updates for prominent MLB players in: Batting contact/power ratings Pitchers' relative control adjustments based on THIS YEAR'S ERA (or more likely, WHIP).

Dennis..... how do you find the built-in sliders options for the mod? In the few trials I've run, I loaded the 1980's sliders and initially they seem ok.

You confused me because you said you had no .dat files in the database sub-folder. But, it's good that you got it working.
-
You should ask over at Operation Sports.....and if you post there, you're going to want to be more specific.

Yank....if space is an issue, just so you know, the 2K12 folder with the mods in place is a whopping 15.2 GBs.
-
So it doesn't look something like this? If not, I don't know what to tell you, other than put the correct roster files in this subfolder. Once in game, hit "reset rosters" from the roster management area.

First off, I don't know if W8 users are having the same symptoms as W7 users, who found that installing the game directly to the desktop and not the EA Sports folder or anywhere else in the program files folder, solved their problem. The other thing is, don't use TiT to install the rosters. Go directly to the database sub-folder, wipe those 19 .dat files, and unzip the file directly into there. TiT will only have it try to overwrite, which may not work. I would try this second part, first, since it would the simplest course. If that doesn't work, before you go about re-installing everything, simply try moving the folder to the desktop first.

Yes..... and rename the file you are replacing to have the extension of <.bak> just in case. If you're going to try the entire set up, let me know what you think. I believe I've recently done a little tweaking to the sliders, but that's a matter of preference.

Oinkers.....you should click on support topic near the top of this (or any) mod page. That way, it will be on the forums and anyone can see it versus taking the chance that someone will wonder into the review/comments section, which is what this is for. When you post a question..... it's best to indicate the operating system you are using as well. Fiebre....thank you.

Not sure why you're getting crashes. I've simmed numerous times and it's been clear sailing. Good call on Melky..... he's been out of the picture b/c of his suspension, so he was overlooked. Thank you.

Den....I can't find an answer about peer to peer play, but I'm guessing it's not available.

Just got this up to speed (for the most part), in part thanks to Dennis for alerting me to the mod I've been waiting for for years. This guy seems to have a lot of new copies available. $8 shipped. I got it in 2 days! http://www.ebay.com/itm/360619773638 Typical 2K funky menus that take a little getting used to. Good customizing ability for the controller. I meant to ask Dennis....was I supposed to apply the official patch before or after the NLSC mods? Or doesn't it matter?

I just simmed a season with no injuries/suspensions. Here was Cabrera's numbers in this ONE trial: And he was in the top 30. Actually the simmed numbers are on the high side with guys hitting .300 and over. In this ONE trial 30 guys hit over .300. Cabrera was top 3 in HR's, top 4 in RBI's, led the league in walks (111), top 8 in SLG%. In the majors last year, 22 guys hit over .300. Cabrera had 44 HR's and 139 RBI's. That is all.

I had a set where the injured player were out and guys pissed and moaned. Now we have a set with no injured players and there are complaints. Players are available in each organization to do what you want with them. Urrutia's numbers are high right now because in his limited action in the minor leagues he still had a .365 BA and .427 SLG%. With the consistent formula I use, that would translate to a 92 contact and 70 power attributes, but as you can see I reduce them because he is not a major leaguer. In time, his numbers will change, but I'm not going to penalize someone like him either and put him in something like the 40's. Also, no batting attributes were done for statistics for this year as of yet. Do you guys think I'm going to check every player every week and update attributes? Machado LAST YEAR had less than a season of statistics for me to work with. His numbers are RELATIVELY lower than Urrutia because FOR NOW he deserves it. I have my methods. If you don't like the rosters you don't have to use them or you can change whatever you want. And I'm done trying to translate in Spanish.
