No, I would not. It's either/or. See if the MVP 15 mod will run. If not, use MVP 12. But not both. Total mods are a collection of files and will overwrite what is there.
-
Choice (A). But with either choice, you may still need to get additional cyberfaces, minimally. Of course, there are additional mods that were released since 2012 and 2013.
-
It's up to you; some people had trouble with the MVP 15 mod. In that case, you may need to install an earlier version, like MVP12 or 13 and then update what you want from there.
-
Yes, but the cyberfaces in the 2015 mod would not be complete, so you would want whatever cyberfaces you would like to install additionally since that mod came out.

Now that the unofficial IDs have been changed to official ones, you should rename them and re-upload 2nd versions (not new creations, just new numbers). In fact, I just did that to look at the faces closer. I have 4 of the 5 unofficial changed as you guys were debating what to do about Diaz. I can send them to you if you would like.

Garrett Hampson, IF, COL photo/audio (portrait) needed. Thanks. Also, you made Harrison Bader 0001, which negates the generic MVP portrait logo. "0000" should suffice for the generic logo. **And all of these new numbers are well and good, but if you don't have corresponding portraits (photos) and/or audio, they're just going to show pictures of older players who used to have these slots, or announce older names in the game if an audio was done for them, so keep that in mind. For example, with the properly assigned number, this is Austin Davis (although we know it's not): This is why I wish you would reassign those 30 photo ID slots back to the MLB team logos. This way, if a portrait is not done for a given player (or way too out of date), then we can temporarily assign the team logo photo ID number until a proper portrait is done. The numbers were 4922 - 4951. Consider reassigning current players in those number slots if you think this is a good idea. Thanks.

jbuck ..... where are you looking for the changes? Have you already started a season/dynasty and going back to that and expecting to see them there? Have you gone into the manager's area (prior to going into a game or season or the like) and looked in there? The steps you're describing above are all correct.

NOTE: THIS IS AN MLB ONLY ROSTER! Incorporates latest trades and significant moves to the trade deadline Call up players who had major injuries Send down players with major and season-ending injuries Create new players who have debuted and are impacting Please PM me for any changes needed. I'll most likely be tweaking this over the next few days. Since "Placeholder" players (last name) were put in to fill the empty slots, these rosters can be used with injuries and suspensions set to "ON" without crashing. Most every team has 23-25 players. If you want to use these rosters to create another version or a roster incorporating MiLB, just ask (as someone already has in reference to a standard only roster). If you are thinking of making a MiLB roster set, you can alter the existing "Placeholder" players. INSTALLATION: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\MVP 2005 (or whatever you named it)\data\database subfolder. DELETE the existing 19 .dat files. Unzip this roster file to that location. DO NOT SIMPLY OVERWRITE! **If you're going to give feedback, please make it intelligent. If the rosters are not working for you, then don't leave feedback and rate the rosters down simply because you don't know what you're doing. Ask for help! **Also, don't just be a leech around here! .... give feedback to ALL modders from whom you download files. Make comments. Give suggestions. -

That's gotta be something on your end for the doc crash. This is the MVP game ID thread. It corresponds only as far as the roster maker makes it correspond.

Much appreciated man!

For pitchers when you say stats I assume you mean control. Control of pitches is not based on just this season's performance. I've been doing these roster for years and they are a build year after year. The reason for this is because players fluctuate over time. I can't possibly keep up with living rosters. As far as batters it is roughly the same approach based largely on BA and Slg%. And yes there are clear differences in their splits, especially like Judge and Benintendi. See here: Judge: https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/split.fcgi?id=judgeaa01&year=Career&t=b Benintendi: https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/split.fcgi?id=beninan01&year=Career&t=b I know you look at and think of Judge as a brutish hitter, but look athis basic stats vs lefties. Overalll it's very sub-par. Thus the splits largely reflect the stats. Since they are both only in their 3rd year I take into account their splits for their career because while they may improve later in the season, maybe they won't and hit a backslide... you never know. Now if you want to put out a rosterpack of your own at the end of the year for the 2018 season you're more than welcome to. I did make a video that I posted in the forums if you care to view it. Thanks for the heads up about Chapman and Baez. The game allows speeds of 100 max which means you may hit 102. I'll correct Baez for the next tweak or update.
