hey guys Here's an odd one. I finally got the game/mod up and running, even better after i rebuilt the models.big. I've been playing a season as my beloved LA Dodgers and the game has run very nicely, but as i'm about to start my 9th game, an inetrleague against Detroit, it completely freezes at the start of "simulating up to your game" Any ideas lol

yeah I was curious how that reply got through lol I wouldn't even know what a crack is lol

Hey guys, did anyone have any "loading" issues with HH2004. Like I installed the game fine (although it was amusing to note that game felt my memory of 4GB failed the games game requirement of 64MB lol) but now whenever I want to play the game it keeps asking me to insert the game cd, which I already have inserted lol very odd

HOORAYYYY!!!!! FINALLY!!! After a long process of elimination, including running the game in its original form then adding the patches, I have discovered what was making the game run at a million miles an hour!! The goddam patches lol I kept installing all five of the official patches. They must've been causing some kind of conflict. I have none installed and the game seems to be running nicely. Thanks again mate for all your help and patience.

lol thanks mate, I really do appreciate you trying to get it sorted for me. Not sure why the game is running at such a fast speed, mvp 13 worked perfectly fine on here so I might just reinstall that :-) Again, thanks heaps buddy Much appreciated

hmm ok lol I use my laptop to play the game (well hopefully one day lol) Are you suggesting I turn off the "vertical sync" in the graphics card control panel buddy

Hey buddy, Yeah I gave that a shot but its still running quite fast. Also, once I get that problem sorted, i'll have another go at installing your rosters, because I really do enjoy using them. Thanks mate

I read back through the whole support thread and found nothing about the game running really fast. I must've been hallucinating lol. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas why this might happen. Everything else seems fine.

Hey guys, I used to play HH but found mvp to be more to my liking at the time and forgot all about HH. I have just recently managed to get a copy of HH 2004 from ebay for like 8 bucks lol I was wondering though, as I cant remember, are you able to actually play the minor league games

Ok guys how's this for a giggle. I reinstalled MVP. 05 (patches included) and the MVP 14 download but didn't install any of the roster packs or edit the models.big or even mvpedit the rosters and.....the game works....but kinda fast lol REAL REAL FAST LOL. I vaguely remember reading a post on this thread when I first started having probs so i'm gonna go back and sift through and see if I can find if there was a solution. Either way, I guess ill be editing the rosters (as much as is possible anyway) in game

Ok, tried saving mvp 05 to the desktop and it wont allow me to due to the fact that it may make IVE system unstable. GRRRR I''ve re-re-reinstalled it added all of the patches etc, managed to work out the BIGGUI thingy (thanks guys) now..i'm gonna try it without editing the rosters at all

Thanks for your reply buddy ok I have my good old original and much loved MVP 2005 discs :-) so I will retry. Do I install 05 to the desktop or mvp14 to the desktop.

Hi there I have just upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 on my laptop. I downloaded MVP 14 and followed all instructions to the letter. Then added the daflyboys rosters and proceeded to do a little "fine tuning" with the minor league teams on mvpedit before exporting the teams back into the game. This, I believed, caused the game to crash before it could load properly. I decided to "start from scratch" and deleted and reloaded MVP 2005 and then all of the associated downloads were reinstalled with it, in order. I have attempted both the compatibility mode and running as an administrator to no avail. it will load as far as the first "main" screen (the one with game modes etc) but crashes from there. . I was wondering about the "models big/ big GUI"" fixing option. I had a little go at it but i was wondering how you get the "models.big back into the game files. It doesn't seem to do it automatically once the rebuild is complete. i'm just thinking that maybe the mod just isn't compatible with Windows 8 :-( Any help would be greatly appreciated, as is the amazing job you guys have done over the past years since EA stopped producing the MVP series. The amount of work that you've collectively produced over that time is incredible and I am greatly thankful because baseball games are very near impossible to come by in Australia. Thanks heaps

Hi guys I've been editing all of the rosters on MVPEdit but have, amusingly, just realised that a couple of the minor league teams have changed their name eg Tucson Padres and Akron Aeros. Can someone tell me how to change the names, not too fussed about their logo just the names lol ta heaps Marty

Hi all I hate to be a pain in the butt. I'm wondering if nyone can let me know how to swap the Buffalo and Las Vegas AAA teams to Toronto and NY Mets respectively. Oh and thanks for the help regarding swapping Hoouston, worked first try, (not that it wouldnt considering you guys are so switched on) Ta heaps Marty
