seanzarelli Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 For me, I absolutely HATE playing the St. Louis Cardinals. No matter what team I am, I struggle...Badly. Whenever I play them I can only strike out maybe 1 or 2 batters and if I happen to get a lead, the very next inning they rally and will score like 3 or 4 runs. Like for example, I was playing my Cubs dynasty earlier (I traded for almost all the Top 100 prospects and spread them out through my teams) and I hopped out to a 3-0 lead in the 8th thanks to a couple throwing errors. Well in the bottom of the inning they start hitting everything and I had a bullsh*t of a wildpitch (I missed the perfect mark by like a centimeter) and they ended up scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Luckily, Braden Looper messed up on a pitch and Ryan Howard crushed it for a homerun and even then, Papelbon had trouble getting the save because they almost had another rally happen. If I don't have a good offensive day I know that they are going to win cause they always seem to hit two or more homers off me. Usually Pujols isn't the guy who hurts me either. Usually Edmonds and Rolen do the damage. I'm close to the all-star break and they're still ahead of me in the standings. I cant think of any others right now) i hate pitchers because of their deliveries (tom seaver, roy halladay, pedro martinez) and what pitches they throw, like this: 4 Seam Fastball 2 Seam Fastball Cutter Curveball Slider You can't tell what pitch is coming next, because they always have different velocities. And Jason Isringhausen throws a curve, slider, and knucklecurve. That is annoying too. I kill el duque and barry zito, and johan santana too. Mainly because they show the pitch so easily.
