New York(AP) -- The Mets and the Phillies were battling to win the series. One good game after another, and nobody seems to notice. The Mets sent out Oliver Perez while Philly sent out Adam Eaton. The Phils got some run suppport for Eaton, But would give it right back as Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran clocked homeruns outta the park to make it 3-1. They tacked on another run on a Luis Castillo Single. Oliver Perez pitched a gem going 8.0 innings only allowing one run

Mets 4 Phillies 2

You're averaging almost 18 views per post. Relax. People follow dynasties and they just don't post in them. It's not that big of a deal. Keep doing what you're doing and obviously people will continue to look in now and then. You don't need people to post in your dynasty to be successful.

Lets Play Two!

The New York Mets and the Washington Nationals will play a Day-Night double header. We focus on the first game. As John Patterson and John Maine both toe the slab today. The Mets and the Nationals are 1-2 in the NL East. A surprising move by Willie Randolph today as he will bat Marlon Anderson 4th today. Anderson is currently playing 3B filling for the injured David Wright. "Hey, he can get on for Delgado, thats all i have to say." And speaking of David Wright, Wright said " I feel much better, it was only a minor PCL sprain or something the doctors told me, But i'll be back in a week or so." Wright has 5 days on the DL until he can be activated

New York (AP) - Shea was soaked and sogy for today's day-cap of the doubleheader. As the Mets took on the Nationals. John Maine went for the Mets as John Patterson went for the Nats. As usual John Patterson owned the Mets, Going 8 innings strong and only giving up 5 runs. On the other hand Maine only went 4 innings giving up 6 runs. The Nats jumped all over Maine and the Mets bullpen as Felipe Lopez and Nick Johnson homered, While Ryan Zimmerman drove in a couple also, as the Nats take First place in the division

The Mets will play thier night cap at 7:10PM, so stay tuned folks

New York(AP) --The Mets were in second place, What? To who? The NATIONALS?. Well That wouldnt go on any longer as the Mets finally got back on track today. Michael O'Connor went for Washington as Pedro Martinez went for New York. The Mets attacked early with with a Delgado Homer that made it 2-0. The Mets got 2 more to make it 4-0.

But Pedro got shaky, The score was 4-2. Two men on and Ryan Church Hits a 3-run homer to give the Nats the 5-4 lead. But the Mets wouldnt let up, as Jose Reyes tied the game with a lead-off homer, then with the bases loaded, Xavier Nady smacked a base hit to give the Mets the 6-5 lead. Marlon Anderson also joined in with a 3-run homer. Billy Wagner shut the door and the Mets cruise to a victory and back in First place

New York (AP)- These two teams looked to win the rubber game and take control of first place in the NL East. The Nats were looking to take first, while the Mets were looking to stay in first. This game was all Mets. As Carlos Beltran and Carlos Delgado went back to back, after that Damion Easley would connect for a homer. Tom Glavine also helped his cause as he was 2-4, also going all 9 innings, only giving up 2 runs, and that came in the ninth. In the 8th inning, Marlon Anderson broke it open with a 3-run homer as the Mets cruise to beat the Nats 9-5

Mets 9 -- Nationals 2
