AS i have posted before i record the old world series on ESPN Classics and change the pitchers and players to make them as true to life as i can. He says it'll probably take till the weekend, and since it's already thursday fine. hey tony, the teams im concerned about are: 1978 Padres ( real fun team,the uniforms are hot, but stats - dont know) 1941 Red Sox (they seem a little weak) 1957 Dodgers (dont touch koufax's fastball) 1973 Angels (damn it TONY! don't touch Ryan's fastball either) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AlexTony Posted November 5, 2004 Share Posted November 5, 2004 Fuzz, i remember now, dr. smith on lost in space, "oh the pain my boy" through many of the rosters: * curveball movements to: vertical or drop * continuity with control ratings. it is very important for determining the pitchers effectiveness. but, cannot have one team with all 70 or so and another with 90's. so, now comparable to all pitchers and teams * some pitch selection changes for pitchers. know a few, looking up some no access too many * rid most 15 fielding ratings. that is soley errors/chances and not actual fielding ability * star power ratings: determines how a player performs in the clutch * more old time stances and deliveries with old time players a bit done and alot too go! AlexTony Posted November 7, 2004 Share Posted November 7, 2004 believe me i am working on this. i am making the attributes consistent thoughout for all the hitters and pitchers for the classic rosters. in other words tweaking numbers for the player ratings. i am not being extreme because we have allot of good rosters that have been done well. though the TEAM players are fairly consistent, remember we have had many different team creators. so, without being drastic, some changes for a more rounded playout example: some 3rd & 4th SP's on one team have ratings very high. but, the aces on other clubs do not. so, the numbers that actually play out, the player performance ratings, (not stats) are being adjusted across the board movement, control & velocity for pitchers. contact, power, hit, take & miss for batters. along with a quick run thru of: speed, fielding, arm, etc. in the end this will allow even greater realism as a whole. hence, better simming and/or arcade playout i am about 3/4 done. hopefully, this will increase the actual playout maybe 20% or so simply by adjusting the rosters on a whole. again, these are not drastic changes subtle, but noticed should be done by sunday eve. i will send out to Fuzz. hopefully what i have done will stick, do some testing then will be loaded here at mvp for 'Total Classic v3' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AlexTony Posted November 12, 2004 Share Posted November 12, 2004 the pictures for the players will be with the portrait.big file that fuzz will make available via 'Total Classics v3' so, the answer is 'No'. but, the the pics of the classics for DL are not all the same that are included with the toal classi v3. some are some are not. the DL's were made available so anyone who wishes to simply add player pics of past players to view can do so. fuzzone Posted November 14, 2004 Share Posted November 14, 2004 ok,im uploading it as i type this. it's a 134 Megs, but keep in mind that it includes All the portraits, loc files, dat files, and uniforms.big and models.big and logos.big it should really be like 400 megs but i brought it down to 134 which i think is reasonable.
