It's not really an issue on not seeing the post, trust me, I see every thread that shows up on this site but I myself am either often too busy with other things (I am currently trying hard to turn an internship at a company into a full time permanent thing, but that's not important here) outside of MVPMods, or I haven't researched enough to help other modders with issues. Or a combination of the two.
  2. This is because you haven't created any DDS files that have mipmapping, or the mipmaps are of the old ads you replaced. Mipmapping is used for distance/resolution purposes. I will post about this further tonight.
  3. i hate steam so much right now. im using texmod to make the texture res higher, but since the game launches through steam, it blocks texmods access to the exe. what a cruel world... good thing i also have a disk copy! will install it overnight. In order to get texmod to work, I renamed the texmod.exe with mlb2k12.exe and the original mlb2k12.exe to mlb2k12launch.exe I then point Texmod to mlb2k12launch.exe to run MLB2K12.

  12. Skin colors would be nice as that is a bigger isssue than the bald heads since they just mean that the player is missing a cyberface. If it's available in the downloads section it will be added in the roster package.

  14. The roster file contains cyberface IDs for these players, not the faces. As part of a package I want to release with opening day rosters, I will try and include all of the missing faces to at least have a base to work with this season. I don't want to download another roster again and all of the face IDs are different, making all of my previous changes invalid. Let's standardize a few things here. I will try and use scottybilly's cyberface IDs as a base. Jose Reyes' skin color has been fixed as part of the upcoming changes. I will look into the schedules this weekend too.

  17. I will do my first revisions this week. Which reminds me, none of this is considered "final" or a solid base to work with just yet. I'm still trying to frankenstein (as in, merge together with other rosters) a bunch of collaborative works and make sure everything plays nice with each other, this includes created guys, schedules and uniform colors.

The final measure I thought of was to just use the Pawtucket Sox Uniform (which has the NOB), create a new Road jersey from there for the Red Sox, or use another team's uniform file, import all the textures over and resize the fonts but I like consistency, and this works perfectly well. If you want ALL the sox jerseys to have names on the back all you need is that road alternate as a base.
  19. i mean in general are rosters an shuedles tied together like the nba2k series is. Yes. Both are tied together. A .Ros file contains the rosters and schedules built in, and a .FXG file contains rosters/schedules built in for Franchise mode, but the rosters can't be used for one on one modes like a .ROS file.
  20. *reads* Oh my. This is what I did. I knew that the road alternate is the only Sox uniform that has names on the back, so what I did was swap out the textures from the Road uniform into the Road alternate, which DOES have names on the back, and edited my colorlist accordingly (just copied values from the home jerseys and made sure it showed the names on the back), renamed the file uniform_bor_road.iff and VOILA.
  21. Keep your current franchise, and start a new one with this roster, just to test it out.
  22. In no way do I want people to think this is the final opening day roster for 2014, but here is something. It includes the 2014 schedule and other tweaks. Hopefully it works. Give it a test run and reply with some results. What I'm looking for specifically is: Skin color issues Pitchers wearing hitter related equipment (like batting gloves with their fielding gloves, wristbands, etc) Missing equipment or different equipment changes (like color changes) Everything else can be tweaked in game, but this is a good base, I think.   23. 31 is something in regards to the menu layout 138 is low poly umpire shadows 187 is the player headshape and where player hair should go 318 is something related to the in-game score display 402, same thing 483, same thing
  24. I have a really good roster going on but I do not know how to extract it as a .ROS, only an FXG
  25. It will crash in subsequent seasons because maybe the schedule that the game uses to generate new ones is broken/does not work properly.
