  1. The sigs in this page are full of win. Great job, gentlemen.
  2. That costs money, and money is something the city doesn't know how to spend wisely. It's not that hard to get into brooklyn or queens, it all depends what trains you take to get around. I live a stone's throw away from Manhattan, and in order to get downtown I take the train that has the least amount of stops on some days, and on other days the train that is least packed. The city is currently trying to build the 2nd Ave. Subway Line which will ease the congestion on the east side of Manhattan. As we all NYers should know, the East side of Manhattan is served only by 3 subway lines, the 4,5 and 6, two of them running on the same track. On top of that, what sucks even more balls is the way the subway is set up with trains coming in from Queens, where you have your express train (the E) linking to a LOCAL subway station (51st street on the 6), and your LOCAL queens train (the R) connecting to the express station in Manhattan (59th Street on the 4,5,6) It's all a clusterfcuk. I wish I ran the MTA, I would run it exactly like Boston has it, where the last subway train leaves at midnight, and the only source of public transportation would be the buses. Increased bus service at night, Increased subway service during the day = Win.
  3. I'm taking requests. One at a time.
  4. - I want to thank the people out here who read my blogs and are willing to offer me some advice. I am always open-minded and I'm willing to learn and understand where people come from with what they say. It's one of the many ways this kid can grow. After some thinking, a solution has been reached and I feel much better about life and everything in general. - Daft Punk are gods. Gods in France, gods in house music, and gods in club scenes. I praise them a lot because I've followed them since junior high school and they've come a LONG way in terms of music and popularity. Y4L, I'm not sure if you are into house music or techno or any of those related genres, but they are probably the greatest collaborative duo ever to touch the House genre of music. I managed to catch their live show on youtube, which is not official but it is video from a news broadcast and man those guys know how to put on a show. I cannot wait for the NYC show next month to close out my summer. - No, I still haven't left to Massachusetts yet to visit this woman, but I am planning to make the most out of my trip, because I'd like to experience something new outside of my normal habitat. I just hope she doesn't like me enough to the point where she'll want to keep me around longer than what I'm planning. Don't worry, I will be sporting my Yankee jersey with pride, and I'll have a small vial of Yankee Stadium mound dirt in case anything happens with Red Sox fans I kid, I kid. - Yes, I agree, Sheffield should drink a nice glass of STFU. - My dreams of buying a vehicle to get around have not died yet, and it won't. - I have yet to find a job, but I am trying. - I'll touch on other topics in my blogs, as it helps develop my writing and people seem to love them. I won't touch on just any topic, just stuff that applies to me and my daily life.
  5. Jose Molina has been traded to the New York Yankees for AA pitcher Jeff Kennard, Nieves will be DFA'ed. http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/news/articl...t=.jsp&c_id=nyy
  6. I love the text effect on PAPELBAHHN, errr Papelbon. The Game Over with the yellow glow feels like it doesn't belong there but it's a good effort. Nice sig.
  7. whatever man, I don't see any growth from you as an "artist" and you are supposed to be further into doing this stuff than I am. Graphic design is not exactly my interest so I don't bother making "real sigs". What exactly constitutes a "real sig" anyway? Is it in the same category as the superficial stuff in baseball like "heart", "grit", and "hustle"?
  8. You've been called out on this method, formula, technique, steps, whatever, when you first started doing signatures, around late last year: http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/p=310607.html#310607 I've noticed you developed better techniques but the premise remains the same: I even changed up my recent alex rodriguez background to emulate your style, first one is my own: to
  9. at the expense of file size
  10. No, I don't...sorry
  11. Given the frequency I do my sigs, it varies: is different from
  12. Dan, there is no argument. I'm just saying that I'd like to see a little more variety, that's all. To change the formula every now and then, so to speak.
  13. That images was posted after I pointed out the similarities in your sigs. A majority of them have the same image original sized, blended on a stock image in the background, with the smaller image resized to fit the dimensions of the signature in the foreground. Throw in a fancy font and voila. It's not exactly the method I'd imagine, as it's vague but it's to the point. I understand that is your style, but I am just saying you have to have a bit more variety, because it looks repetitive. You should know this, as you are farther into graphic design than I ever was. It's not my forte anyway. If anything, my sigs always feature the player first, with the design itself being the background. Not too intrusive with the focus being on the player itself. I use brushes not for the noob factor like you say, but because the image itself is small and anything else is overkill.
  14. Yes, they are. All of my sigs don't use C4D, or stock stuff, just flat out brushes
  15. Of course anything looks good when it's done in the same style. Nice try.
  16. I believe it says JUNIOR in a script font
  17. You have to branch out
  18. I want to cry. I want to shed an e-tear. That is just beautiful.
  19. Wrong.
  20. I don't mind, I mean I don't use baseball player sigs because I'm a jinx Pavano - TJS, out for the season Damon - fears the DL, has played half-assed Bonds - super slump
  21. I felt like I had to blow the dust off of Photoshop
  22. That's not to say I won't change things in the next update . Spungo has helped me out significantly and so have I with his work, and for that I'm thankful. I considered switching over to his templates for all my unis at one point, since I'm going to be doing every team that exists in the game, but for the sake of keeping it Kccitystar, I've used elements of both. In some ways they are similar, in others they are not. Spungo does incredible and tremendous work with his uniforms and yes, he's a perfectionist and will get every superlative detail correct before releasing his uniforms, which I respect tenfold....and go Royals. I use the installer because there are exactly 164 MLB uniforms (including the ASG and umpire outfits) in my update that have been re-done, and now it will go even higher to 348 uniforms with the entire minor league system. Another reason I use an installer is because I don't release my uniforms individually, other than the major overhauls like the Reds and Diamondbacks. There will be a time where I will release them individually but that time will come when the changes I make will be very small. Maybe next year's version of the uniforms will be individual sets. The sake of it being easy to use just comes with the installer, but to install it with a .bat script is the same. -KC
