No, it didn't get corrupted. The patch is just a little less than 20mg and I tried it a few times and got the same file size each time. Now when I tried to install this patch on my XP laptop it worked perfectly. This convinces me more that it is a Vista issue. So that takes care of that. I'll have the updated 2012 game on my laptop and not on my desktop. I'm kind of curious to know how long this took you? So instead of a 19 to 20 mg file I could have a few smaller ones? Hmmm. This could work. I can try this tonight when I have some time to spare.

I did exactly this Jim (I should add without drinking anything) and the same thing happened. I really have come to the conclusion that it is another "Vista" issue. I had no trouble installing the updated red White Sox uniforms or the updated Yankee uniforms that Dennis made but for a bigger file like this patch is it did not work. I kept on getting a message that the TiT stopped working and when you see that error message come up you know it's not going to work.
-
Yes I do. I always run it in administrator.
-
Jim, I have Vista. And, hahahaa, (I'm having a hard time typing this) I own the game. Wait. Let me check. Yes I do. :good:

No, they are not read only. All my installs are the same.

Two more I never heard of! You know who would have really loved this thread and would have posted more songs that I never heard of? MarkB. That guy was a big rap fan and one time he had me listen to one of his songs and my ears rang for three days. That being said, here's one that I am familiar with. A good song with a great guitar solo - the perfect recipe for a song. Here's Ozzy Osbourne's Mr.Crowley.

I installed this with TiT just like the instructions said.

How do you like that? You learn something every day. Thank you RRoy.
-
I wish I knew what was going on now.

Kyleb maybe it is just me but after I applied the patch I can not get the game to load up. I'm able to start the game, pick the teams and uniforms, lineups and stadium but after that it just hangs.
-
Don't know if this has been brought up before but there's a uniform mistake with the Brewers. In the Brewers uniform choices there is an option to pick the 1957 Milwaukee Braves. Right city, wrong team. This should be in the Atlanta Braves section,

Try now.

Excellent job! Your attention to detail is admirable. Thank you very much.

Rush? One of the best. I had one in mind the other day but neglected to grab it. This one's early Iron Maiden. I'm sure everyone has heard of these guys but not many of you with the original lead singer Paul Di'anno. As good as Bruce Dickinson is, this guy is just as good. Here's Killers, from their second studio album Killers that was released in 1981. This is the studio cut of the song.

The easiest thing for you to do to host your in game pictures is to get a free imageshack account and host them there. Then you will be all set. -
Toronto-Cincinnati continued The ball gets away from J.P. Arencibia but not far enough for any runner to advance. Colby Rasmus is a split second away from hammering this offering from Johnny Cueto into the right field bleachers. And there it goes. The Reds win this exhibition game 6 - 4 in Mvp 2012.

I had a good game yesterday with Toronto taking on Cincinnati. This mod plays smooth and it is fun to play. Here is a video of Jose Bautista hitting a single to center field but Drew Stubbs throws out Yunel Escobar at the plate for the final out. Here is the enhanced box score of the game: TorCin.htm Screenshots Colby Rasmus here is one of Johnny Cueto's seven strikeouts on the day. Jay Bruce went 2 for 5 today as the Reds collected seventeen hits off of three Toronto pitchers. Scott Rolen throws to first after making a backhanded play off the bat of J.P. Arencibia. Heading into the bottom of the third the Blue Jays hold a slim lead. Ryan Hanigan doubles to left field in the bottom of the fourth. This was one of Cincinnati's seven hits in their five run inning that knocked Kyle Drabek out of the game.
-
Exactly. I was kind of disappointed that this thing died four years ago. MetsReyes777 started the ball rolling on this and then just dropped it. It also didn't help that they moved the discussion of this mod to Mvpclassics.com (the site no longer exists) and when that happened things went downhill. There's been a few good ideas for mods that never happened around here and this was one of them. The NCAA mod was another one. Like Jim said, you or anyone is welcome to try anything they want.

Jackson has always given these kind of interviews ever since he's been in the game, starting in Oakland. -

There's a shock. -
Don't joke like that because someone will take it serious.

Then you did it wrong. Replacing an overlay is a very basic thing.

Anyone that was around at that time and saw what was going on would not argue with you and I am certianly not going to. Munson was exactly what you said - the heart and soul of those great Yankee teams. I count myself lucky that I saw him play. But you must see we are talking about two different things here. I brought up what Jackson said about Rodriguez recently and it really had nothing to do with how he was during his Yankee years. Like him or not, Jackson said things about A-Rod that everyone must have been silently thinking to themselves but for one reason or another did not say it out loud. -
Already been attempted but never completed.
