  1. Legends Retro League roster, players from 1900-to modern, a mix of MLB, Negro Leagues+ Sadaharu Oh and Shigeo Nagashima from the Japanese League! 1314 classic and modern players

This Roster was balanced and made with the spirit of the SMB4 system in mind. I rebuilt my roster from the ground up. All traits are stat and reputation driven.

This is a legends roster with players from 1900-to modern, a mix of MLB, Negro Leagues+ Sadaharu Oh and Shigeo Nagashima from the Japanese League! I have 1314 classic and modern players created. The players are not on correct teams, because I use them exclusively for shuffle draft leagues.

Here is the Fielders Roster sheet

Here is the Pitcher Roster Sheet

I used War, Ops+,Era+,Jaws, R-Jaws, Ootp Baseball, Baseball egg, Bill james, The Lahman database, and Retrosheets, to create a ratings system with My own formulas for POW CON SPD FLD ARM. even from just simming the stats are good. I then created spreadsheets for position players, starters, and relief pitchers to establish a player hierarchy across all eras. I figure I would share with all of you because why should I keep it all to myself!

I balanced the roster on the defaults so the roster does not run too hot, or cold players wise. I tried to make players as familiar and iconic player shape since we have only 5 tools to work with. The fielders Run a bit hot because I wanted them to feel as legendary as possible in the system we have. So I added in a filler player pack for use with a shuffle draft. The filler bench players I did not feel like creating run rated D to C+. With the filler pack it should bring up the roster to 1600 players. I may make some more 3-10 WAR players to fill that out at another time.

The league means should run very close to the default roster means, Pow 60.2 Con 60.9 SPD 60.1 FLD 60.1 ARM 60.1. Right now the pitchers Are perfectly balanced for the rosters size, Pitchers Means Pow 15.4 Con 16 Spd 27.2 FLD 56.7 Vel 59.7 JNK 59.6 ACC 59.5.  I took cues from the default roster on how it is constructed, and how traits are applied to Fielders and Pitchers of varying grade level. So we have accurate players built for the SMB4 system.

I recreated 34 teams uniforms and logos as faithfully as I could, the MLB teams all have their 70s,80s, and a few 90s uniforms thrown in. The Rockies are what I imagine their uniform would be if they existed in 1978

Every Teams has between 4-8 classic unis and classic batting jerseys

This File includes the Retro Legends League, A few extra teams in another files, and a Fill Roster with hand picked D to C+ for shuffle draft guys who would be your bench guys. there are like 180 fielders, and 140 pitchers to fill out the league to 1600 players. So when you shuffle draft you will have between 5 to 10 D to C players on your roster keeping the league perfectly balanced and to add a little more randomness.

I did not like the Cardinals logo and Uniform so I updated them. I added a Tampa Bay Devil Rays Uniform into the extra teams file.

  2. My take on MLB Teams/Logos Uniforms + My Player Pool 299 top historic Players ranked via era/FanGraphs season data

I’ve finally wrapped this project up... for now, ha.
    Reddit Post

I consolidated everything into one post and deleted the older ones to keep it clean. My resources were gathered from SportsLogos, Wikipedia, and InsideHook.
Out of the 248 total uniforms, I’d estimate:
~100 brand new creations ~100 heavily modified The rest lightly touched because they were already strong
I started with two MVP Mods files as baselines (linked below):
    Lonnie Walker's MLB Teams/Logos cbreezy15's MLB Teams/Logos
I pulled roughly half from each to build out my 31 teams (yes, the Expos are included — couldn’t leave them out). Every team now has all 8 uniform slots filled, either through heavy edits or fully custom builds.
Uniform Order I tried to stick by:
    Home Uniform - 2025/2026 Home Uniform Away Uniform - 2025/2026 Home Uniform Alt 1 Uniform - 2025/2026 Alt Uniform Alt 2 Uniform - 2025/2026 Alt Uniform, 90s/2000s Home Uniform/Alt Uniform Alt 3 Uniform - 90s/2000s Away Uniform/Alt Uniform Alt 4 Uniform - Historic/iconic pre 80s Home Uniform/Alt Uniform Alt 5 Uniform - Historic/iconic pre 80s Away Uniform/Alt Uniform, City Connect/Concept Uniform Alt 6 Uniform - City Connect/Concept Uniform
    What Changed the Most
The bulk of the work was:
Fixing and matching color palettes (a lot of blues, reds and oranges were off in my opinion) Reordering and swapping logos to better match real-life usage Creating new or placeholder logos to fit uniform hierarchy Matching uniforms as closely as possible to actual game-worn sets Updating pant stripes, hat color combos, and sock setups I primarily used Jersey Type 1 (buttoned) as my base template and converted most uniforms to that style. I prefer it over the pullover/no-button look.
If you’re into ultra-accurate, traditional, consistency-driven uniform builds, this will be your thing. If you prefer creative reinterpretations, this probably won’t be your cup of tea.

    Player Pool & Ratings System
Using roughly 26,000 seasons of FanGraphs data, I ranked players within their era and primary defensive position using percentile formulas in Excel. I then weighted performance across:
Best single season Peak 3 seasons Peak 5 seasons Career average From that, I generated the following stats:
    Batters
Power → ISO, HR rate, SLG, XBH Contact → AVG, K%, BABIP, H/PA Speed → SB, CS%, BsR, Spd Fielding → TZ/DRS, Fld, Def Arm → TZ, DRS, A per position, CS% (Catcher only) Pitchers
Velocity → K/9, SO%, H Junk → K/9, BABIP, FIP Accuracy → BB/9, FIP, ERA I did a quick defensive boost pass for pitchers as well (e.g., Greg Maddux-level defenders getting 99 Fielding).

    Final player count:
178 batters 121 pitchers Plus all original SMB4 favorites and custom league players *Important note I added player names in that could be announced so someone like Barry Bonds is Barry Bond, Albert Pujols is Albert Pushups. I really didn't like the announcer just saying coming up to bat is number 5...

    Archetypes & Perks
Every player received two major perks, carefully assigned to create strong but thematic combinations. I built custom archetypes based on final stat outputs to guide perk selection.
For hitters, I bucketed them based on questions like:
Do they have an elite bat (90+ Power and 90+ Contact) Are they defense-first? (90+ Fielding and 90+ Arm) Speed-first? (90+ Speed) All-around monsters? (240+ for Power, Contact, Speed) Example Archetypes:
Babe Ruth - Power Bat Titan 2 batting oriented perks Ted Williams - Pure Bat Legend 2 batting oriented perks Andruw Jones - Two-Way Technician 1 batting oriented perk 1 defense oriented perk Jesse Barfield - Defensive Anchor 2 defense oriented perks That framework helped avoid generic perk stacking and instead make players feel distinct and dangerous.

For pitchers, archetypes guided both perk selection and pitch arsenals.
I built around 23 different arsenal combinations, tailored to their final stat profiles. While arsenals don’t always match real-life pitch counts exactly, I prioritized gameplay feel:
SP → 5 pitch types RP → 4 pitch types CP → minimum 3 pitch types Starting pitchers with only 2–3 pitches just doesn’t feel great in-game, so I optimized for fun and variety.

    Era Buckets Used
    ≤1919 → Dead-ball ≤1941 → Live-ball ≤1960 → Integration ≤1980 → Expansion ≤2000 → Modern ≥2000 → Statcast
    Final Notes
If you like the player pool, great. If not, you can always shuffle-draft the teams into your own pool.
If you want to dive deeper into the numbers, check out the file:
    Player Pool + Archetypes
This was a massive labor of love. If you’re into historically accurate uniforms and carefully constructed player builds that still feel fun and dangerous in-game, I think you’ll enjoy it.

  4. Triple-A+: Unique uniforms and historic rosters for 16 of MiLB's finest

    Teams:
This league contains sixteen current Triple-A teams with custom logos and mostly accurate primary / secondary uniforms. I say "mostly" because Triple-A teams wear roughly 1,000 one-off uniforms per season, each, and they don't all keep very good records of such. I used SportsLogos.net and Overlay for the team logos, cap logos, and a number of the jerseys. Some could definitely be improved upon, but none are offensively bad, not even the Toledo Mud Hen.

My priority was to include teams that had distinct identities. So, no Iowa Cubs, Wo-Sox, etc. Omaha had to move from the IL back to the PCL to balance it, but that's fine.

    Pacific Coast League
Albuquerque Isotopes El Paso Chihuahuas Las Vegas Aviators Omaha Storm Chasers Round Rock Express Sacramento River Cats Salt Lake Bees Tacoma Rainiers
    International League
Columbus Clippers Durham Bulls Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Louisville Bats Lehigh Valley IronPigs Nashville Sounds Rochester Red Wings Toledo Mud Hens
    Rosters:
I used a combination of Baseball Reference and The Baseball Cube to map current active players to Triple-A teams -- ideally, to a team where they played a significant number of games, but in some cases, I had to use rehab assignments or whatever. If a player is on a team, he wore the uniform at least once.
Current MLB attributes and traits are a combination of Elder_III's comprehensive 2024/25 sheets, thanks Elder_III, and some manual entry (mostly via Baseball Savant's player profile's and percentiles).
All in-game Legends players have either been assigned to their appropriate Triple-A team or left in the Free Agent Pool.
There are a deeply stupid 500 free agents in this league, making it suitable for a ten-year franchise, if you're into that.

Feel totally free to take the logos and uniforms, improve upon them, iterate, etc.

  5. 2025 MLB - All Teams, All Players, All Logos, 90 Free Agents

This is for the SMB4 Community!

This is a collection of great MLB logos and Rosters from 2025 of all 30 MLB teams, made by various creators.

I have compiled a lot in order to achieve the best possible result. I have also created one or two logos based on original templates from the internet or/and made some finishing touches to other logos. Overlay technique, so to speak.

I also finished the previously missing 14 rosters with 2025 MLB players according to the specifications of Elder_III. It took me about 200 hours in total as I also created 90 Free Agents, including some of the best 2026 prospects.

It was a huge effort from all who have worked on it so far. Therefore, I would like to expressly thank everyone.

I decided to upload it because the community has been longing for it and I hope no one minds. It is not my intention to upset anyone but to make the community happy. Thank you for your understanding.

I wish everyone a lot of fun with this league.

A BIG THANK YOU goes to

    Rocket-man15 aka cbreezy15,
    Elder_III

I hope I haven't forgotten to mention anyone.

  8. BETA v1.0 Super Mega MLB (2025 Rosters)

With the 2025 MLB roster ratings made by Reddit user Elder_III and the alot of the uniforms and logos made by Reddit user Rocket-man15. I have spent the time putting everything together and this is just the teams that if the MLB were to make the MLB posteseason 16 teams these would be the teams in the playoffs. The images are what the 16 playoff would look like and the 2025 World Series teams.

I am working on getting the other 14 teams completed as well as some free agents (mostly players that didn't make the rosters) and when the rest of the teams are complete I will be releasing everything on MVP mods I just wanted to get kinda like a teaser out since SMB4 is dead and we'll never see a real Super Mega MLB game hopefully this will scratch that itch.

  9. MLB Legends 20 Team Expansion League

This is an expansion I had made for my own personal usage. Now that there is a way to share custom teams/leagues with others, I decided to upload it here.

This league includes the 8 default Legends teams (and Free Agents), and an additional 12 teams based on real Historical players, for a total of 20 teams in the league. The teams are roughly from these time periods and/or settings.

    1800s Negro Leagues Only 1900-1933 1 1900-1933 2 1934-1966 1 1934-1966 2 1965-1985 1985-2005 2000-2020 NPB 1 (Japan) NPB 2 (Japan) Sentimental Favorites (from my youth)

Since the default Legends teams are nearly all from the 1960s-onward, I wanted to add more players from earlier time periods, as well as some more players from recent times. The only rules are that they all be retired players, and that teams be as balanced as possible within the same numerical framework as the default SMB teams have always been. The ratings are all based on Career statistics, NOT on Peak seasons. I used the general Excel equations that I have used in my annual MLB roster releases (which can be found on Reddit each year for the past 9 years). For older players I also relied heavily on OOTP for defense ratings.

I am not good at making uniforms or logos and I just plain don't enjoy that part of the process at all. Feel free to change anything you like. I did have to move teams around to different stadiums than I typically use since I don't want something to break if someone does not have all the stadium dlc. As is, this league only uses default game stadiums.

  11. Super Mega MLB v1 (17 of 31 teams)

Version 1 of my MLB league! I'm a big Halo fan so those are some of my favorite logos, but I tried to put love into every team I've finished so far. Some personal favorites are the Rockies Turn Ahead the Clock uniform, the Philly Phanatic, Mr. Redlegs, as well as San Diego's city connect! Hope you all enjoy my creations so far! Stay tuned for newer versions!
