MVP22 - Full Levels Roster by Alfre

(Version 1 - 08/08/2022)

Hey! The wait is over, here is the 2022 first version of the Full Level Roster.

There are two Rosters for your choice:
1) 2022 Season Focused
2) 2022 Roster for Multiyear dynasty play

The difference is that in the Roster 1 (current Season focused) players with long term injuries (mostly pitchers with Tommy John surgery) were pulled out in order to make room for more prospects.
Also, MLB lineups and rotations in the Roster 1 are current for today (players with short term injuries were placed in the minors).

  • To install:

First make a backup of your existing DAT files in the MVP22/data/database folder, then delete those 19 DAT files before copy and paste the roster of your choice.

*EDIT *

To avoid any confusion with the install instructions, here is a clearer step by step:

1)  Go to the folder and first make a back-up of your original 19 DAT files (you can sort the folder by file type).

2) After the back-up, delete those files. This is because it's not recommended to just overwrite the old files with the new files (errors have been found if one simply overwrite the DAT files).

3) With the empty folder, all that's left to do is copy and paste (or cut) the 19 new DAT Files of one of the two roster of your choice.

4) It's ready to play.

Check the "Additional Features" folder for more cool stuffs.

I'll keep updating the Roster 1 with the latest moves for the remaining of the season, I really hope you enjoy this mod as much as I did while making it.

IMPORTANT: make sure to activate the DH for both leagues.

@alfre2jose thanks for your amazing roster, this is the time I begin to play MVP with the current season.

The rosters are one of the hardest mods because there is so many time needed to recollect all the info.

I totally recommend to also add at least the overlays and the 22 logos from @marcoscaballero MVP22 which is only available at MVPCaribe.

Pura Vida hermanos y gracias a ambos.

Respect and thanks to alfre2jose for updating the MVP 2005 latest roster. Thanks to you, we continue to play good games. thank you
By the way, the fastball speed of Josh Heider, a top finisher, is about 90-91 mph. Wasn't he originally a player who sprayed about 100 mph?

Response from the author:

Hey thanks! About Hader, no, he scraped the fastball in 2022, he now only throws sinkers.

A tip about my roster is when you see that the fastball bar is low, it's because the sinker, the 2FB or the cutter are the go to high speed pitches used for that given pitcher.

Really confused on how to install this. Says to replace the files in the MVP22 data folder, however, it won't allow me to make these changes. Am I missing something? Genuinely can't figure this out

Response from the author:

Well it's not that confusing at all, as you can read above the correct path is: MVP22/data/DATABASE, not in the data folder, of course.

Here is the step by step:

1)  Go to the folder and first make a back-up of your original 19 DAT files (you can sort the folder by file type).

2) After the back-up, delete those files. This is because it's not recommended to just overwrite the old files with the new files (errors have been found if one simply overwrite the DAT files).

3) WIth the folder empty, all that's left to do is copy and paste (or cut) the 19 new DAT Files of one of the two roster of your choice.

4) It's ready to play.
