The PA announcers will say burroughs but the announcers will just say stepping up to the plate....then dead silence. well it's good to know i wasn't going totally insane yesterday. that's [burroughs] what happened to Cerda in my game. apparently this EAGraph is the mad heat though so I just installed the files using that - this is going to be a good day, i can feels it 8) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sfgiantsflgators Posted May 26, 2005 Share Posted May 26, 2005 when i did it i didn't open the file in EAGE. instead i went to the "import wizard" in tools, then selected the middle option (the top one is faded out in my version) - something about adding to .tar then on the left side of the box that comes up - the target file to change - you select "pbnamehdr.big" or whatever other file you want to import to - then on the right side you select the files to add (such as the files just extracted from Hory's audio .rar file). the beautiful thing about EAGE that was pointed out to me earlier is that you can import them all at once. after you select them you click "add" and it will very quickly zoom through and say finished hope that helps man... I dunno what to do. dude you're opening the wrong file - for pbp - you have to open pnamehdr.big not pbphdr.big, hope that solves the problem... I've triple and quadruple checked him You sure you installed the pbp-dat files to data/audio/cd/spch_pbp/pnamedat.big ? I've been trying to make Robinson Cano and Huston Street audios, but both their last names are difficult to emulate, any good suggestion of audio to use to make the names would be good. For street I've been trying with the 'Str' of strayhorn but I can't find any name to make up the 'eet' part of the name - sheets didnt work well and for cano pronouced 'Kuh-no' (this is correct yankee fans?) I know that 'DePaula' is in the game already, but I'd have to figure out out to drop the 'a' off of the name announcement to pronounce 'DePaul'. Hory Posted May 27, 2005 Author Share Posted May 27, 2005 Thanks man, I've made a prototype audio for Robinson Cano, I haven't managed to perfect the voice inflection on the "Robinson" since the 'Robinson' I'm using is from a surname not a first name, but I think my 'cano' sounds ok considering... For the Hanley, is there somebody named Stanley already in the game? And then the Han part...is Josh Hancock (from the Reds)'s audio in the game? I have also d/led the easy install with the .big files and Kevin Millar hasn't been working for me. John Buck did work from the announcers, however. I haven't tried anybody else yet. Hory Posted May 27, 2005 Author Share Posted May 27, 2005 Yea, I'll try making Hanley Ramirez, kevin millar definitely works, the buck audio is just a replacement of an EA audio which had one of the annoucers annouce his surname as 'brown' instead of 'buck' so you've probably not installed it correctly, maybe?
