I just found my first computer: http://oldcomputers.net/aquarius.html

(It was hard to find, because I didn't remember the name, I just remembered what it looked like)

The only accessory we had for it was the tape recorder. No games/software. So it saw very little use.

Here's my computer:

Athlon 64 3400+ (2.41 GHz)

1GB 400 MHZ DDR RAM

200GB 7200RPM HD

Radeon X700 PRO

17" Samsung LCD

It's been a couple years since I upgraded.

Personally I have a pretty good computer, graphics are excellent, but not the best. It gets the job done.

Gateway FX

Intel Core Duo

1 TB hard drive

4 GB RAM

NVIDIA 256 MB Graphics Card

24" HD Monitor

Drools :p

Me I got a macbook.

Intel core 2 duo...2GHZ

120GB HD

Stupid integrated card :?

Dunno what else to say...I guess I can say, "Hi, I'm a mac...and a PC"

Crud - I've had the wool pulled over my eyes. I thought you were being serious. LOL - I had never heard of it before but I thought it was some sort of new gaming cpu!

 I actually thought you knew what the ZX81 was with the "beast" reference!

Since we have a few floating around, here's the definitive one. If you find any others, drop me a PM and I'll merge them with this one.

In keeping with the topic, time for an update, methinks.

Primary is a custom build desktop.

Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H AM2+ motherboard, onboard ATI Radeon HD3200 GPU

4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHZ RAM

AMD X2 Dual Core AM2 Athlon 64 4200 2.2GHz CPU - overclocked to 2.6GHz

512MB ATI Radeon HD4670 graphics card

Trust 570W PW-5500 Dual-Fan PSU

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro HSF assembly

1 Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB 7,200RPM SATA II HDD

1 Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB 7,200RPM IDE HDD

19" Hanns.G HW191D LCD monitor running at 1440x900

64-bit XP Pro SP2 (reinstalling 32-bit Pro on next reinstall)

External drives - 1 2TB Western Digital Essentials, 1 1TB Seagate FreeAgent, 1 500GB Seagate Desktop, 1 400GB Maxtor 3200 and 1 500GB Maxtor Basics.

Secondary is a Dell Inspiron 1721. Everything not listed below is standard spec.

Seagate Momentus 7,200RPM 320GB SATA II HDD

32-bit XP Pro SP3

Backup is a Dell Mini 9 (or Inspiron 910, as it's sometimes known), useful for taking on home visits to fix people's systems. Only addition to that is a 2GB DIMM to replace the standard 1GB.

Intel Atom CPU (1.6GHz, 512KB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)

32-bit XP Home SP3

Onboard Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Yuck! I have a profound hatred for Intel GMA.)

8GB SSD

1.3MP webcam & 802.11 WiFi
