Did you read my reply in the actual support thread? No need to start a new support thread. And kyleb is correct. When you start a season or dynasty you are asked to save it (or lose it) which creates a .SAV file. In essence you are sectioning off the rosters you choose to use for your dynasty. ANY new roster set creates a new default or base roster set for the game.

Job well done Kyle.... thanks for letting me help out the bit that I did. People just see the end product and need to realize the work that goes into not only creating and placing players in the correct areas but the speed bumps you encounter along the way. FYI players: I loaded and simmed through an entire season with injuries and suspensions turned ON and had no problems at all. If you have a crash, there could be something else in your set-up, but I guarantee it's not these rosters. For you guys having trouble seeing the changes, don't just overwrite the old .dat files. Delete them and unzip these to the same sub-folder. If you're still not seeing them, make sure your MVP shortcut is pointing to the proper install.

Try installing it to your desktop, not one of the program files folders.

Asked and answered. Then you probably need to contact the author of the program. MVPmods didn't create the program. But I can verify what Jim is saying. You just don't like the answer.

I can't guarantee what this crazy game does sometimes, but they're all rated pretty low. Good luck.

The "Smiths" are all fillers so that the game doesn't crash. This was done because the rosters are primarily MLB focused. But they should not be on major league teams as well. Are you seeing all-stars duplicated too?

So there are multiple copies of fake players in the team rosters AND free agency? I've never seen that, unless you're now talking about two different things. I can't help the fake players the game generates in FA and I have no idea why they did that. But, you can reset rosters which should get rid of them and then save this reset roster to whatever you want (but only the game will recognize it). You're going to have to clarify what you mean, though.

Shouldn't be. Did you edit something in the rosters? The fix typically is (because you're probably seeing a bunch of all-stars in the FA pool as well as on their respective teams) open the roster with MVPedit and either individually, or with a global edit, make all of the players' "HIDDEN" field indicate "YES" but ONLY on the All-Star squads (leave Future Star squads alone). In other words, don't change it to "YES" for that same player on his given tream. You'll find the field on the "Player" tab.

I don't have screen shots, but got it because my brother and I wanted to play online and 2004 had too many glitches. Glad we found it.... as we still play today.

Not an issue, but a suggestion (though I can't start a new topic here for some reason). How about the intro/home page have the "latest posts" area split into MVP and 2K? And maybe not include the threads auto-created for new files. Sometimes we're getting a thread for a single portrait done.

Turn injuries/suspension/trades off. But you'll have to re-start a new season. Test that out first before playing any games. Moustakas should have been in one of Jed's packs, which I think means it should have been in Homer's.
