Ok...you 2K12 afficianados... what is the bottom line with: 1. Offline game play? (meaning with the latest known tweaks) Is it smooth animations? Can I institute "classic" type pitching? (i.e., not a lot of crap on the screen as I can do in MVP) "Real feel" batting and not canned results? 2. Online game play? Can it be done IP 2 IP? If players are relatively close in proximity, is it fairly smooth at lower resolution? Custom rosters useable online? And anything else that you think is significant and important to know....thanks!

TW 08 PC is also going this route with the series being cancelled and new PC golf games coming out. I'm good. I attempted to install NET 3.5, but nothing seemed to happen on the surface. However, after that a test run showed the BSE to work. Computers. ptoi!!!!

I know that's it and with a transition to Windows 7, that is automatically installed. Maybe the wrong version though. However with the BSE no longer available on this site, I'm stuck. I think I have to have network 2.0 and/or 3.5.

Yes.... I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to sift through 40 pages. Wondering if anyone knows/remembers the support files needed to go along with the BSE to make it work?

Ben Revere (335) seems to be showing up as Danys Baez? Not sure, but it's definitely not the Revere face, which seemed adequate.

Just upload a new file on your same page and alert people as to what to download.

Oh I see.... I guess that's the inherant problem with this in that certain faces aren't included because (and I agree) that some faces were not up to snuff. Then I guess we should note these as we find them and either decide to insert the faces ourselves or change them back to a generic. Thanks.

Not sure if Zack Cozart (Reds) is correct. Official ID is 615 and my roster shows it is using that number, but his face is showing up as a Black guy.

I'll tell you guys another thing. AVAST is not liking the TiT program. Saying there is a Win32:Dropper-gen virus in the .exe file. I did see where one of Kraw's previous releases caused a similar warning, but that it is a false positive and other AV programs may not see it as such.

Thank you. I still think you need to work on labeling these files and zip files a better way. It can be confusing. You also should complete some type of full rotations for MLB teams, including relievers.

If you're running W7, apparently you need to have your main folder on your desktop, not in program files.

All the more reason why you'd have to make two players. But you really can't utilize him as he might play in the game with his special glove and the ability to make one shift during an AB. He's an anomoly. Pretty amazing ability though.

The game is not programmed for switch pitching.... only switch hitting. You'd have to make 2 separate players. Plus, does he throw the same pitches ambidextriously? (I'd give my left arm to be ambidextriuos!!)

The formulas I used are in the hands of Yankee4Life right now as I stepped away from roster making for now and the foreseeable future. I'm not going to speak to everything that you brought up but I will explain why Puig's ratings were so high as compared to Cabrera. Puig's numbers reflected his lightening in a bottle season. Since subsequent years would probably result in his numbers reducing, there wouldn't be much concern there. Cabrera, like any vets, is a reflection of the most current year balanced with a range or previous years (I think it was 3 consecutive previous years). And it's difficult to emulate someone's strike out numbers considering that any human player could be controlling any particular team. Yes, there are attributes for swinging percentages, but it's impossible to figure what that would mean in relation to what pitches they would go after, then factoring in the game slider as well. So you see it becomes quite convoluted. I can't imagine (and maybe don't want to think about it in hindsight) the number of hours this took in total. But, I think I'm the only roster maker who came along and eventually worked out formulas of sorts for contact, power, pitch control, fielding attributes, catcher throw out attributes, bunting ability and pitcher's batting abilities. Additionally, I threw in the idea of RPs and LRPs having their own sets of stamina. I also worked in end of '13 hot/cold zones, but for some reason, the most current roster makers never used those to build off.... go figure. Like Y4L said, you're welcome to grab the roster and move it forward if you'd like.

On second thought for Cincinnati, bring up Mesoraco as the 2nd catcher, maybe platoons with Pena. 13 pitchers is doable. Leave Santiago down.

Don't overwrite rosters. Take the zip file into the database subfolder, delete the existing 19 .dat files and then unzip these in there.

Looking better. Here's some adjustment suggestions: CIN: too many pitchers with 14. With all the injuries, it is difficult to tell you what adjustments as I'm not sure who you're keeping based on injuries. But you should have 13 fielders. It's hard to send guys down, but I'd go with who has had the most playing time. You do need a backup catcher (Tucker Barnhart) and Ramon Santiago. BOS: Badenhop should come up to middle relief; send Nava down TOR: Turn Rogers into a MRP (stamina about 24); move Todd Redmond from the FA to LRP; bring Happ up and make MRP (stamina about 27); send Tuiasosopo, Goins and Izturis down; Getz to 2B Also, you want to name your rosters according to date or number order them somehow.

Homer....this is a great asset to the community. Question though: since there were some modders who did not follow the official ID list, does this collection have those given cyberface files changed to match the official list?
