Windows 7? Try installing to desktop instead.

You seem right there. Couldn't find it either. Thought there were 'net links but failed.

Can you zip up and send me the roster so I can look at it later? It sounds like a cyberface problem. One way to rule that out is if you know how to use MVPedit, change everyone on Daytona who has a unique cyberface (i.e., anyone under 901) to something between 901 and 915 and if the game runs smoothly, you know what it is.

You need to give other details so you can get some assistance. What stadium are you using? Did you add any modifications, faces, etc.? Is it always against a certain team? Is it always when using Daytona no matter what?

Done with 8 teams.....made extra progress today. It's funny to see how some guys have actually reversed their productivity from what they had done in the past. Btw, players injuries whose are season-ending will be placed in the FA pool. Addendum: 2 more to go to finish the AL. Also fixed a dozen 1B who didn't have 1B's mitts. And removed Matt Carpenter's & Logan Morrisons' 1B mitts. Addendum 2: AL is totally done. On to the NL. Addendum 3: 4 NL teams down. Attempting to give decent HR% numbers for those who like playing with them. Addendum 4: 2 divisions to go.

I think with the way salaries are for the past few decades now, few if any players could care less if they're boo'd or not. There may have been a time when that matter to the players at large, but not any more.

Never even thought of touching him (ewwwwwe!!). But, rest assured that Professor Toru Tanaka got a huge upgrade.

Haha...thank you Oscar. Pitchers are done (other than a few I'll probably need to bring up as I go along). So, if anyone has feedback about pitchers needing adjustments, let me know. But I will tell you I did quite a few. 3 teams done with batter adjustments (including hot/cold zones). As long as baseball-reference.com considers that fielder as a qualified player, I'm looking at him. Trying to do 3 teams a day which means a release in about a week and a half.

I think that would mean changing the programming of the game, which is doubtful.

As I said, working on these for around the All-Star break. Let me know now if you see anything you think needs changing. For example, if you think a certain pitcher should have different pitch types/speeds, different appearances, etc. Like I said somewhere else, I will make contact/power changes for only the most prominent players on a given MLB team (and if I get the hankering, I'll do the hot/cold zones too). Later.

It usually means the cyberface the player currently holds does not match what is in the models.big file. According to the official ID list, Bogaerts is 643. If the cyberface maker didn't assign that number on the 3 files and the roster doesn't have that number assigned to him, you're gonna get the mismatch. In this case if you installed jogar's Bogaerts face, the number won't match (jogar for some reason didn't use the official ID list very much). You can changed the 3 files inside any cyberface zip to the correct number, but the bottom line is that it has to match the number inside the roster. If you don't know how to use MVPedit, you can check (and change) the players assigned cyberface number inside the roster but opening the <attrib.dat> file with wordpad, search for the given player's name, look at #10 slot and see what number he has. For example, with Bogaerts, in one of my roster sets, part of that line looks like this: 0fff0c906,0 Xander,1 Bogaerts,2 2,3 0,4 0,5 4,6 5,7 27,8 85,9 26,10 643,11 0,12 7,13 0,14 6,15 0,16 9448 You can see in the #10 slot the number is in fact 643. But that doesn't matter if I installed his face with a different number.

One thing I didn't like about converting to W7 was the windows all opening in the same size, no matter how you may resize a particular window. Discovered this app today that did not seem to have any associated malware or anything else connected to it. It doesn't need installation and seems easily configurable. Now whatever I pick for a window size on a given folder seems to stay that way. http://www.sevenforums.com/free-developer-programs-projects/40916-shellfolderfix-manage-folder-window-positions-size.html

Maybe work out official ID numbers with Oscar before releasing.

Can you unzip other compressed files with 7z, Winrar or other unzipping tools? This is a bizarre symptom and I'm not sure what details may still be needed. Maybe if you have a techie friend, you can invite him to take a look remotely.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you're enjoying them. When I do the AS break version, I'll be taking a look at depth charts, injuries, etc., as I've done before. If I have time, I'll make contact/power adjustments to MAJOR contributors to a team and look at any large discrepancies for particular pitchers (which I would welcome feedback on now before the fact). For example, while testing out the cpu v cpu rosters, I noticed Teheran's pitches seemed off just because of the nature of them. Verlander will need an adjustment too, but I can't know everyone and I'm not going to take a look at every single pitcher. Addendum: actually I've already started on this for pitchers. You'll see a good number of pitchers with everything from minor to significant makeovers regarding their pitches.
