Come on Cleveland. I'm an American League fan and I like to root for the A.L. team unless it is someone like Boston, Kansas City, Toronto and Detroit.

I'll go for that. And incidentally I am not a "hater" to the MLB The Show game. I was just pointing something out that just may come true once this game is finally released and that is it would not shock me one bit to see if a few extra bucks are tacked on just because Griffey's mug is on the cover. If that the definition of hating then consider me guilty as charged but also consider the source.

That really doesn't tell me anything. Not everyone has Amazon Prime to take advantage of that.

It's not going to mean a damn thing. Now that they have a Hall-of-Famer on the cover of the game they got a reason to jack the price up five to ten dollars.

Now I have to ask how long have you been playing this game? Because you don't just install it and then start scoring eight runs a game. It takes practice. Something tells me you are too impatient.

Check the download section. There are two mods in there. One has a "dirty" ball that lets you play with a game-worn baseball and there is also a "clean" ball that lets you play with a shiny white one all the time. Try this right here.
