You know, if you start getting accurate with these sims like you did last night you should put some money down. Now let me look at that box score for the Yankees and Blue Jays. Ellsbury and Gardner were a combined 0 for 14. So far this is believeable. Teixeira struck out three times but got two hits? Hmmm. The strikeouts, sure. But not two hits. This lazy good for nothing bum can't get two hits in batting practice. Beltran went 2 for 6. Again, believeable. He's been hot. Gregorius and Castro contributing is something they have been doing all year. Ackley in a rare start did well too. Even Headley got a hit too. He's been showing signs of breaking out of it. And McCann didn't surprise me at all by going 0 for 6. It's what he does. And the pitching was fine. Nova did well. Good work!

Maybe your best bet would be to invest in the PC version of this game. You won't have that problem there.

Ok Jim, that makes sense. But let me ask you this. How would this be? Why would these files be set to read-only when anyone else who installed this mod was able to do it without these problems? Kind of confusing.

No. First of all you didn't need to install all five patches. Patches three through five are just roster updates and those updates from EA are eleven years old now. So, we don't need them. The patches you can install are patch one and two but even if you didn't install them you still would have had a full working version of the 1984 total conversion mod.

I read that in your first post. That means you did something wrong. I installed the 1984 mod and I have the '84 rosters and everything needed for that mod.

Well yeah, if you can't get the game to play you did something wrong. Many years ago I created a thread that helps you install these mods. You can read it right here.

If you notice you'll see that a lot of the different mods we have here have different views (datafiles) but as Gordo said you can change that to anything you wish.

Well, it's not a Mvpmods release. The people at the Mvp Caribe site made it. It is not hosted here at all. They are just using this website to promote it. You must be a member over there to download it. Good luck navigating over there if you can't understand Spanish.
