    fences

  2. Security Service Field (Sky Sox Stadium)

Security Service Field (Sky Sox Stadium) by Dennis James

This ball park is a request by Savoy Special that I am filling that was originally made by the great Dennis James, a man who has a golden touch in anything he decides to mod. This ball park has been known by three different names but rest assured that it is the same park located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The names are as follows.

    Sky Sox Stadium (1988 - 2005)
    Security Service Field (2005 - 2019)
    UCHealth Park (2019 -)

Again, like all of the requests I have filled recently this is not my work. The modders, in this case Dennis James, get all the credit.

This is a stadium mod for Champion Field at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, FL. It was the Spring Training home of the Atlanta Braves from 1997 to 2019. To install, drag the .big file into your MVP Baseball\data\stadiums folder.

It will replace Spring Training Stadium 2 in a default install of MVP Baseball 2005. Always remember to back up your files.

    McCoy Stadium by Bodiball

This stadium was made by a modder by the name of Bodhiball not long after Mvp ‘05 first came out. Bodhiball made a lot of minor league stadiums for the game and this is one of them. This is his work and all credit goes to him. All I did was upload it again because BallFour needed to use it. The original readme file from Bodhiball is included in this.

  7. Cashman Field Las Vegas

This stadium didn't make the cut for MVP Baseball 1998, as I decided to add Doubleday Field and BC Place in Canada to the mix. Plus, it fits better as a minor league park anyway.

This is a stadium mod for Cashman Field in Las Vegas, NV. It is the former home of the Las Vegas Stars/51s and was a home field for the Oakland A's for a few games in 1996 while the Oakland Coliseum was being renovated. This mod also works for Total Classics 84, 93, 94, 95, and 98. This mod will replace AAA Stadium 3 in a default install of MVP Baseball 2005.

To install, simply use TiT. As always, please remember to back up your files.

  8. 2020 Sahlen Field (Blue Jays)

This is a stadium mod for Sahlen Field in Buffalo, the temporary home of the Toronto Blue Jays. Included are day and night versions. To install, drop the skydday.big and skydnite.big files into your data\stadium folder. To get accurate camera angles, insert skydday.txt and skydnite.txt into your datafile.big file.

Please note - this mod will overwrite Rogers Centre in a clean install of MVP Baseball 2005. Always remember to back up your files.

Please Note: This mod is based off the great work by bodhiball, who created Dunn Tire Park back in 2006. Much like Buffalo, I just put a fresh coat of paint on everything.

  9. 90s Cooper Stadium

This is a mod for Cooper Stadium, former home of the Columbus Clippers. It is based heavily on Bodhiball's awesome 2005 Cooper mod. Please note that this will overwrite your default AAA Stadium One. You will also need to add aaa1nite.txt to your datafile.big directory.

    Modifications include the following:
    - Updating outfield wall texture to make a more transparent fence that allows you to view the awesome background.
    - Scoreboard update to remove the bottom of the scoreboard appearing in midair. Also made the scoreboard more generic so you're not always looking at Carlos Pena.
    - Relocated bullpens so they're not in the middle of grassland.
    - Updated to artificial turf, which was installed at Cooper Stadium from 1984 thru 1998.
    - Changed Indiana flags to US flag and 1996 International League Champions flag.

  10. MVP Asia Series Stadium Pack_2

Here are (2) Create-A-Stadiums for use with the MVP Asia Series Mod. There is (1) for Japan and (1) for Korea. Even though these stadiums require the use of the included Owner files; you CAN use this stadium in any Exhibition or Dynasty game.

This is a CREATE-A-STADIUM, so you should simply copy the venuday & venunite files (DO NOT RENAME) into your data/stadium folder.

Also included both "KOREA" and "JAPAN" owner mode files. Place file into your My Documents/MVP Baseball 2005 folder. Load it when selecting the "Create-A-Stadium" (at the Stadium Select Screen) to get the proper configurations of these stadiums
    Enjoy!

  11. MVP Asia Series Stadium Pack_1

Here are 4 additional modded stadiums for use with the MVP Asia Series Mod. Included are stadium files for (3) Japanese Stadiums:
-Generic All-Purpose Dome (Named Osaka Dome)
-Hiroshima Carp Stadium (Using Great American Ballpark as the stadium model and the Camden Yards slot)
-Hanshin Tigers Stadium (Using Guaranteed Rate Field as the stadium model and the Ballpark At Arlington's slot)

    (1) Korean / KBO Stadium is included:
-Generic All-Purpose Dome (Named Seoul Stadium)
I have enjoyed the MVP Asia Series Mod since it was released years ago and have worked on these stadiums over the past 2 years.  I had watched numerous KBO and NPB game highlights and used screenshots to transpose many of the wordmarks and ads used in the stadium.  When ads were not available; I created them myself.

I will be releasing (2) CAS (Create-A-Stadiums); 1 for Japan and 1 for Korea likely tomorrow that can be used for this great mod.
I am also working on an additional outdoor KBO stadium.

Simply copy the stadium files into your data/stadium folder and copy the datafile.txt files (arliday.txt, arlinite.txt, orioday.txt, orionite.txt ) to your data/ folder.

    Enjoy KBO and NPB fans!

  12. Doubleday Field

This is a stadium mod that creates Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, NY. It was home to the Hall of Fame Game until 2008. I used MarkB's fantastic 2008 Waterfront Park mod as a base and created Doubleday out of it.

To install this mod, rename the stadium to whatever you wish to replace it with, then paste it into your stadium folder. Then, import fencday.txt into your datafile.big - that's it!
Remember that this will overwrite whichever stadium you choose to save over.

  14. Dodd Stadium Norwich Navigators

This is a stadium mod for Dodd Stadium, former home of the Norwich Navigators. It was in use as the home of the Navigators and Connecticut Defenders from 1995 - 2009. It now serves as the home field for the Connecticut Tigers of the NY-Penn League.

This mod will overwrite AA Stadium 2. Ads are from the 2004 season, but I changed the affiliation to the New York Yankees for my MVP 98 mod. To install, use TiT or import the stadium into your data/stadium folder. Always remember to back up your files.

This stadium was based off the amazing Jerry Uht Park mod made by bodhiball.

  15. 90s Estadio Latinoamericano

This is a stadium mod for Estadio Latinoamericano in Havana, Cuba. It's based on the awesome mod made by salva. I've just changed the scoreboard, the building in the background in left, and the outfield walls. This can be used for any game you wish to play in Cuba from 1993 to 2005.

To install, import the .big file into your stadiums folder and add the .txt file to your datafile.

  16. Frontier Field night version

This is the night version of my Frontier Field stadium mod. It has more generic branding, rather than being listed as a Yankee affiliate throughout the park. I couldn't figure out how to get the lights to glow, so that's a bummer, but I like the way the skyline turned out! I hope you enjoy!

To install, import the .big file into your stadiums folder.

  17. Frontier Field

This is a Minor League stadium mod of Frontier Field, home of the Rochester Red Wings. The ads reflect a fantasy stadium aspect, as if the Yankees were the parent club of the Red Wings. So it's not totally accurate, but it's a AAA stadium that hadn't been modded yet! This mod was based off bodhiball's PNC Field mod. For those curious, the building out by left field is the Kodak corporation headquarters.

To install, paste the .big file into your stadiums folder, and import the .txt file into your datafile.

  18. Mile High Stadium

This is a stadium mod for Mile High Stadium in Denver, the first home of the Colorado Rockies. In MVP 1994 and other early 90s TCs, I believe it was just a Metropolitan Stadium mod that was used in place of Mile High. Using Cinergy Field as a base, I've created a close-enough-to-life Mile High Stadium.

To install, just drag the .big files into your stadium folder and then import coorday.txt and coornite.txt into your datafile.

  19. 90s Estadio Monterrey

Presenting Estadio de Beisbol de Monterrey! In 1996 and 1999, the San Diego Padres hosted regular season games in Monterrey, Mexico. Using salva's UCV Stadium as a base, I've created Monterrey Stadium. It will overwrite the Qualcomm classic stadium in a default install of MVP Baseball 2005. It's not a perfect match, but it's got the basic structure there!

To install, simply move the .big file into your stadiums folder and import the qualnite.txt into your datafile.

  23. Parc Labatt - Fantasy Home of the Montreal Expos

This is (my first ever) stadium mod for the Montreal Expos. This is a fantasy stadium based on Nationals Park that suggests the Expos didn't move to Washington in 2005. It contains day and night versions of the park, and there are a TON of tiny little details that I sprinkled in there to give it a Montreal feel. Take special note of the Gary Carter Kid's Club in left-center and the Hawk's Nest right above it. Basically, I could go on and on about the changes made, but there's too much fun in finding the little nuances yourself.
All that being said, this mod literally would not be possible without Pirate and dennisjames72 doing their awesome stuff to Nationals Park. It's their sandbox and I just put on a new coat of paint.

  24. 1971 Oakland Coliseum

Here is an edited version of Dennis James's 1970's Oakland Coliseum.  Here is a quote from a message that he sent me when I asked if I could edit his Memorial and Oakland Stadiums, "That's no problem at all.  Any work I've ever posted here on MVPMods has always been free for anyone to modify or improve upon.  Anything I've ever created here has been to share with the community and for everyone to enjoy.
    Best of luck to you,
    DENNIS"
All you need to do is to copy the 2 stadium files into the stadiums folder in your MVP game folder, but I'd backup the other 2 in case you don't like these.  I took lineups and scores from a particular day of games and applied them to either the daytime or the nighttime applications.  The one with Don Mincher as 1Bman is from the early 1971 season before the trade with the Senators and the other has Epstein which is after the trade.
If there are any questions, drop me a note.
    Enjoy!
    Eskie01
PS: The original pic is from the introduction of the A's players before a 1972 ALCS game with the Tigers but I have also original color photos of A's and the opposition that shows the scoreboards in the background and they have the identical ARCO signs at the ends.
In addition...I added several pics of players from 1971 to show that the scoreboard was consistent with the 1972 ALCS photo here.  Jim "Mudcat" Grant only wore this version of the A's uni after coming over from the Pirates in the mid-season 1971, next...Luis Alvarado of the Chisox, you can see the A's wearing the sleeveless jerseys in the background and if you look closely at the White Sox uni you can tell it's flannel by the texture; next Hegan came over from the Brewers for cash and he wouldn't have wore this one in 1972; lastly Ron Klimkowski came over from the Yankees and went back to the Yankees for 1972.

  25. 1970-72 Baltimore's Memorial Stadium

Here is an edited version of Dennis James's 1970's Memorial Stadium.  His original 1970's Memorial Stadium is almost exactly like the 1979 rendition of the original stadium that I noticed on my vcr recordings of the 1979 ALCS with the Angels and my 1979 WS highlights video.
    Best of luck to you,
    DENNIS"
The actual Memorial Stadium's scoreboard flipped every so often from these 2 and one that was an ad for the News-American, a newspaper that heavily carried the Orioles.  These 2 I think were the most colorful.
All you need to do is to copy the 2 stadium files into the stadiums folder in your MVP game folder, but I'd backup the other 2 in case you don't like these.
If there are any questions, drop me a note.
