after an hour of writing down lots of numbers, heres how the trajectories work. If you are having trouble imagining how they work, look at a clock to see how the ball moves. This below should all be 100% accurate.

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

1-7 - Some

2-8 - Slight

9-3 / 3-9 - Sinking

Basically as you switch between lefties and righties, 12-6 does not change.

11-5 is 1-7's opposite

2-8 is 10-4's oppposite

3-9 is 9-3's opposite

for Righties:

Curveball:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

Slider:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

9-3 - Sinking

Changeup:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

1-7 - Some

2-8 - Slight

None - None

Slurve:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

9-3 - Sinking

Cutter:

10-4 - Horizontal

9-3 - Sinking

Circle Changeup:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

1-7 - Some

2-8 - Slight

None - None

Screwball:

1-7 - Some

2-8 - Slight

Splitter:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

1-7 - Some

Sinker:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

1-7 - Some

Forkball:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

1-7 - Some

Palmball:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

10-4 - Horizontal

1-7 - Some

2-8 - Slight

2-Seam Fastball:

1-7 - Some

2-8 - Slight

Knuckle-Curve:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

1-7 - Some

Knuckleball:

12-6 - Drop

11-5 - Vertical

1-7 - Some

for Lefties:

This thing sounds cool and looks like I would definetly be interested in using it. I just installed it, but being a newbie I don't know what the hell to do. Could someone give me hint on what to do and how to get started? thanks in advance

Import the data files from Program Files/EA SPORTS/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database... tweak with what you want... then export back to the same file...

pretty cut and dry.

figured it out, might not help you though

last season the fsh files inside the big files were not compress, this year they are

I imported a photo using MVPedit, when I looked at that player (#0475) the game crashed

I then opened the portraits.big file and pulled the fsh file out that MVPedit made

I compressed that fsh files using eazip (eazip -c 0475.fsh)

I then put the FSH file back in the portraits.big files using EA Graphics Editor

loaded the game and the portrait worked

Hey Kraw,

I have found using bigGui much easier as you can import/export files and compress them right from within it.

Just want to say- you peeps are incredible. I was just turned onto this site a few days ago, I am still reeling from all the possibilities! Will def. be making a PP contribution for all the kickbutt stuff I have gotten here. Keep up the great work :D

Face #2 (c002) does not exist, that was Bonds face last year they removed it from the models.big file

the # need to be 1-505 and the fsh, orl, & ord files need to be in the models.big file for that #

I might be misunderstanding somethings here but aren't the generic player faces that are available in the game numbered from 902 - 915 or something like that? If the Editor only allows you to set the game face between 1-505 then how do we change the generic game face assigned to players we may want to change. For instance: Dan Dowd may be a white guy's generic face 902 but I want to have him be a generic black guy's face #913.

I'll remove the limitation in the next release.

Great work Rglass and thank you!

One thing i noticed is that there are old players on the free agent list from the default mbe file i imported from data/database such as Catfish Hunter, Rick Ferrell, Billy Williams etc. (i think 11 old time players on the F.A. list).
