Like replaying the 1985 season, or 84 Dolphins vs the 75 Steelers. Gordo Posted March 25, 2021 Share Posted March 25, 2021 Yes. You can play NFL 2K5 on consoles as well as on the PS2 emulator. There are also classic team rosters that were made in the past. I would check out Operation Sports in the proper thread .... but be careful ... they get a little sensitive sometimes over there if they think you say the "wrong" thing. But you're not going to get the mods MVP has (uniforms, faces, etc.) My understanding is that Madden 08 for PC is more in line with that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've never actually played a football game, I've just tested one in certain moment. What game do you think would be ok for an old beginner, like me? Gordo Posted March 25, 2021 Share Posted March 25, 2021 The thing about 2K5 is that even though you can't mod much more than the rosters, it's the gameplay that keeps people coming back to it. Kccitystar Posted March 26, 2021 Share Posted March 26, 2021 I mean I could recommend Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2020 but the game itself is just a port of the console version so its options are extremely limited in how you can configure things. I think that forum software is from the 70s and it's hard to find files. footballidiots.com was a little better. I'll give it a try in a bit. Madden 20 has an awesome mod called Start Today over at Operation Sports.
