Even though MVPEdit does allow you to have up to 255 players on the FA pool, I've found that having a large number of players in there will cause crashes. I always keep mine below 50 and have not had any problems.

You will find him in a number of the Total Classics mods - Total Classics 10 and Total Classics 1984 are a couple that come to mind. I believe that there is a Strawberry cyberface in one of Homer's face packs.

I could be wrong but I don't think Mile High was ever created. It was on the stadium "wish list" at one point.

Mustard and sweet red pepper relish (or regular green relish if the pepper relish isn't available).

Please do not bump your posts to get them back to the top of the list. It is against site rules. If someone has an answer, they will post one. Asking again if someone has an answer to your question won't get one any quicker.

I think they need a few more years of playing time before they can be considered Legends.

I mean wherever mvp2005.exe is located. That's probably the MVP Baseball 2005 folder.

1. Extract the patch to the top level folder of your default game installation and run it from there. 2. Don't install the mod until you've patched the game. 3. As long as you abide by the site rules, you will get help.

I uploaded the invisible baseball mod 2 weeks ago. You can't see it? That explains why the download count for the mod is still zero!

You can only install the patches to the default version of the game. If you have modded even one file and then try to install the patch, it will fail and tell you that you do not have the default version of the game. Do not extract the TC10 installer to the same folder where you want to want to install the TC mod. Extract the TC10 installer to a different folder (for example TC10_install). When you run the installer and it asks you where to install the mod, THAT is when you specify C:\MVPMods\TC10. Also, regarding your two consecutive messages above, please do not bump your posts to get it moved to the top of the list. That is a violation of forum rules. You need to be patient. If someone has an answer to your question, they will post a response. In addition, the site has been up and down over the last day, so that is why you didn't get an answer sooner.

On Windows-7, I think it installs the game in the "Program Files (x86)" folder by default. That should work. I was only saying not to do that because I remember KC posting that in his post describing how best to install the game.

You don't reinstall another copy with the discs. What it is saying is that you install a clean, unmodded, version of the game once, install any of the official EA patches to it and then NEVER install anything on top of that original version of the game. Whenever you want to install a conversion mod (Total Classics 10, TC1927, MVP15, etc.), you create a new folder and then copy everything (all files and folders) from your "clean" installation folder to your new folder. You then install your conversion mod on top of that new version. For example, I have Windows-XP and have my original copy of the game in the C:\Program Files\EA Sports\MVP Baseball 2005 folder. It doesn't matter where you install the original version, however, if you are running Windows-7, it's best not to install it to the Program Files folder. It's better to install it to a folder like C:\MVP Baseball 2005. When I wanted to install Total Classics 10, I did the following: I created a C:\Total Classics 10 folderI copied everything from C:\Program Files\EA Sports\MVP Baseball 2005 to C:\Total Classics 10I went to the folder where I saved the Total Classics 10 mod and ran its installer. When I was prompted to enter the folder to install the mod, I selected the C:\Total Classics 10 folderWhen the installation was finished, I now had two installations -- the original, "clean", version and Total Classics 10. I repeat steps 1 - 4 above every time I want to install a new conversion mod.

Have you read this thread?: http://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/43843-installing-multiple-mods/

What mod(s) are you trying to install? Are you trying to have multiple installations of the game?

He may not have included the pname.dat file from the 1994 mod in this mod.

AlexTony, a founding Total Classics modder, contacted me recently about being unable to run MVP2005 on his new Windows 7 PC that had replaced his old Windows XP PC that had died. He was getting the same error message and when we dug around, we found that DX11 was installed in his version of Windows 7. My old Windows 7 laptop has DX9 on it, so I can run MVP2005 on it with no problem. I found him a download link for DX9 and he tried installing it, but that didn't seem to solve the problem. If I recall, I think that the installation itself might have failed whenever he tried to run it. I'll have to have him look at his refresh rate and screen resolutions.

Looks great!

It's all set and should be visible.

Disk 2 is used for installation, however, it is the one you need when you actually play the game.

Welcome to MVPMods! MVP 2005 is not available via digital download. You will have to buy the discs. As you can see, it is a bit pricey for a 10 year old game, but that just shows that people are still playing it due to sites like ours. Once you get the game and install it, you will want to install one of the patches that EA Sports made available for the game. They are available in our Downloads section. EA Sports released 5 patches (each patch contains all the changes in the previous patches). I myself only upgraded to the 3rd patch. The later two were mainly roster upgrades. Once you patch your game, you can download and install one or more of the great mods here. For modern gameplay, you will probably want the MVP14 conversion mod. That will update everything to 2014. There are also some 2015 files available (rosters, faces, etc.). You would need to install these separately until the MVP15 mod is released later this season. If you have questions, feel free to browse the forums and ask questions. We were all new here once.

Those look great

You can also find it periodically on eBay.
