When you are done with your roster, send it my way so I can hex-edit the color values for the scoreboards since you cannot do that with any editor at the moment. I'll edit the colors for all the associated teams and send it back your way ;)
-
I'll just take baby steps and work this out with my roster and see if it's similar to any other roster sets. This shouldn't be too hard to implement in a roster editor if the color value is consistent in a certain number of bytes/blocks in the data, honestly. AN IDEA: What could be done so far is to identify all of the stock 2K overlay color values and work from there. That shouldn't be too hard and I could get started on that later this week, since no roster that is out right now has the values changed/updated yet. This way, the values themselves could be changed via a hex editor directly from any roster :D

I may have managed to get the hang of it, I changed the Oakland green to the one in my uniform update, #002319. Hex editing is cool, except the part where you have to calculate the checksum, but other than that, SUCCESS.

Do you know if this works for any roster or just the one I uploaded?

here you go player_head_6390.7z

This is scrolling down to the offset where the Astros colors are located:
-
Worked perfectly. The more offsets we can find, the better. To be specific: Orioles Giants Marlins Braves Reds Angels Diamondbacks
-
Ok scrolling further up...where your Astros offset is, I highlighted in red.
-
attached is the roster I'm using for my mods. I'm not sure where to look at now that the offsets are different from yours. 2K13Roster.zip

OK, I saved my changes, just did a CRC32 check and it won't load the roster. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. EDIT: wait....gonna try something new here
-
Is what I am looking at the right color?
-
This. I'd love to edit all the colors if possible. I hope there is a section for the theme colors in a future version of the Reditor, because this is a great find. Great job exrxixxx

Interesting. I'm still looking for the team colors. The rosters have 3 values to my knowledge for team colors, but no mention of colors assigned to overlays or anything like that.

I am curious as to what file handles the effects on the replay watermark? I've been wondering how to crop that out for a long time :|

You would have to try and look at skybox textures. Panoramic ones, to be exact. They're so hard to find online without a sun in them.
