File Name: AAA Central Stadium File Submitter: Kccitystar File Submitted: 20 May 2013 File Category: Stadiums Here's an update to MLB2K12's AAA Central Field. I replaced the night game lighting, as well as a handful of ads and the colors of the outfield walls. To install, simply copy stadium_aaac.iff to your MLB2K12 directory. Your MLB 2K12 directory can be (if you have an x64 version of Windows) either in: Overwrite the existing stadium_aaac.iff and you should be set! Special thank you to picklebrad for the dirt texture update. it might not be for this particluar field but it is an AAA field Enjoy! Click here to download this file

About the skies: Miller Park has its own sky and Marlins Park does as well, which is what the mim and mib files are for. Indoor is for the Rogers Centre, I believe. Other than that, it's just a beautiful day at the park:

Random Thoughts On A Sunday Morning Updated To 11-24
Kccitystar replied to Yankee4Life's topic in Left Field (Off-Topic)
I think Ortiz shed some weight this offseason and as a result he can turn on pitches better than seasons past. While he was on 'roids in 2002, I'm sure now that he's pretty much one of the faces of the franchise in recent history, I don't think he'd risk wanting to take supplements unless there was a foolproof scheme in doing so. The amount of backlash and sh*tstorm getting busted with PEDs would cause would be crazy. Boston would never want him back again. -
I think it's best to release rosters during significant breaks during the season, like Opening Day, Post-Draft/All-Star Break, Trade Deadline, and then End of Season/Playoffs. Or Monthly.

Oh goody, a new roster

SCEA San Diego has been the only company, from personal experience, that has legitimately given a damn about what baseball means to them. Every single year, there has ALWAYS been a wishlist thread on Operation Sports that would probably 90% of the time have something from it that's implemented in the following year's version of MLB: The Show. They're a company who actually listens to their fan base and as such have created a sports game so well-received that people have literally bought a PS3 for MLB: The Show that would have never bought one in the first place. Sports games by default are infinitely more fun to play on a PC, but we (the community) are the minority, and not worth the investment for a port (as far as a version of MLB2K13), let alone a version of the game specifically designed for us. I have vented many times with how frustrating it can be playing sports games on the PC, because we used to have so many choices, and over the past decade have dwindled to nearly nothing. I don't play the NBA/FIFA games, so for me, this means I have to choose between playing an 8 year old title that I no longer physically own in MVP Baseball 2005 (I can't find the disc), a game that I have to constantly have a workaround for to even work in MLB 2K12, and a statistically deep but text-based game in OOTP. Ridiculous.

I managed to reorganize all of the uniform slots in the game and give them proper uniform IDs (home, road, alt, etc). However, I'm becoming aware that this presents two problems. One, it invalidates every colorlist because the slots are different/moved around, and 2. Any old colorlist imported from any mod would throw everything off because of the new realignment. This is giving me a headache. I think I'll lay down.

Got my key this afternoon. Sh*t just got real.

Send me that version, I have something I want to include on there since the roster handles uniform slots and IDs for those slots

Split it in half and double-post lol. I know double posting is frowned upon but this thread has gone on forever -
That's PERFECTLY fine since it's only assigned to one uniform for the San Diego Padres
-
What I'm going to attempt to do is edit the english.iff file and change the uniform labels that already exist. I'm planning on changing "Alternate Camo" to "Sunday Uniform"
-
Stunning stuff man, great job. I wonder what you'll do to my beloved Yankee Stadium
-
Yeah, I figured. I bought it last night at around 9 or so

Purchased the Guru edition with the Modder's tables, no registration code yet. *crosses fingers*

http://www.operationsports.com/forums/nba-2k-rosters/622874-red-mc-nba-2k13-reditor.html#post2044935217 Vlad posts here at MVPMods but every now and then.

Since I am 100% positive I am able to add/position uniform slots and label them properly, the english.iff file is what I am most curious about now. I know Vlad just released an editor that extracts all of the text from the english.iff file for NBA2K13, I am hoping something can come our way, given that the file structures are similar for both the NBA 2K games and the MLB games.
-
Holy crap why didn't I see this earlier. Now I'm curious to know if we could add more strings to the ENGLISH.IFF file and link it to the .ROS file. If I could add more slots (which is possible) and give them custom titles (like 1994 Home/Road for the Houston Astros) while perserving the names of the classic uniform slots that exist, that would be an amazing step forward.

I gotta buy the Guru version of REDitor now :|
