An Xbox 360 wired controller achieves the same effect. I say this because I think you'd have to buy a proprietary wireless receiver to even get the PC to recognize an X360 wireless controller.

Oh this I know. I am in no way trying to discourage you from doing whatever it is you want to do with this mod. I have no problem with this update other than the fact that you're using my own colorlist as a base with your changes for a few teams, and not crediting me at all for the teams you didn't change since those are my values in that file. It comes off as you passing the entire colorlist as your own, and that's unfair to me given the amount of time I've spent working on those colors for every team in the game. I always thought the unwritten rule of modding for any of these games was that if you are going to add or use someone else's work in your mod it shouldn't be a problem if they're credited, otherwise the perception is that you did everything on your own. That's what I have a problem with.

Here's a list of teams you modified in your colorlist: Arizona - Home/Away/Alt/Alt 1 Padres - Home/Away/Alt/Alt Camo Giants - Home/Away/Alt/Alt Away Milwaukee - Home/Away/Alt 1/Alt Home/Alt Road/BP Pittsburgh - Home/Away/Alt/Alt Away St. Louis - Home/Away Atlanta - Home/Away/Alt/Alt1/Alt2 Washington - Home/Away/Alt/Alt 2 New York (NL) - Home/Away/Alt/Alt 2 Philadelphia - Home/Away/Alt Oakland - Home/Away/Alt 1/Alt 2/Alt Road Seattle - Home/Road/Alt/Alt 1 Texas - Home/Road/Alt/Alt 1 Chicago - Alt 1/Alt 2 Minnesota - Home/Away/Alt 1/ Alt 2/ Alt Away Baltimore - Home/Road/Alt/Alt 1/Alt Away New York (AL) - Home/Away/BP Home Toronto - Home/Away/Alt/BP Home/BP Away I don't want to come off as condescending but if you're going to deviate from my own color list (I know this because all of the color values I gave the minor league teams are there in your colorlist and there are many teams you did not change the values for that had my own color values listed), I'd like some credit, given that I worked hard to get the colors of every single team that exists in the game as accurate as possible.

Just a few notes: - There's been times the mipmaps have looked horrible when I know I modded and saved everything properly. I found out that it was just the crappy filtering used for the mipmaps. The smaller the res the worse the quality, I discovered. So I stumbled upon this neat little feature thanks to Nvidia, where you can select the MIP Map Filtering settings. Now, I experimented with all of them and I found out that Box works pretty well, Gaussian works just as good, but Triangle is the one you'd want to use since it looks pretty good at low resolutions. -3DM ModTool allows me to work with DDS files better than NBA2KMod Tool, if only because I am able to edit and do what I need to do without decompressing the IFF file itself. It helps that it can extract files I couldn't extract in NBA2KMod Tool, such as lettering and the green texture for the aforementioned lettering. - Section 16 in the uniform_(teamname)_**.iff file contains sleeve patches for the manager's jacket as well as the majestic logo on said jacket. The MLB logo on that file is used for the helmet as well as the logo on the lower right corner. - Every team that has a unique number style has different spacing than another team, so be careful what uniform file you use if you're looking for front number placement. I've had to re-do the Diamondbacks repeatedly to get it right multiple times. - It is possible to import a team's hat logo along with the green texture in any classic jersey.
-
Everything in this mod goes into the main directory...although global.iff isn't needed and if you replace your global file with this one, your game won't start. It crashed back to the desktop on my computer. That said, a lot of modders who are doing work for MLB2K games should seriously start looking at the basketball community for developments since their community is much more ahead of the game than we are when it comes to modding 2K games.
-
That's exactly what the ENBSeries does. It looks nice by fixing the gamma values but the downside is that it messes up any mods that correct the colors on a uniform or on a stadium
-
How is this different from the ENBSeries mod?

It looks good. Excellent job. -
It's hard finding these logos as it's an upcoming promotion :|

Here is a link to a YOUTUBE tutorial on how to edit DDS files on GIMP. Although the textures used belong to the NBA2K series, It should help those of you who are experiencing problems.

I saw the video. I raged. Hard. However, you guys can rest easy. Internet justice is in effect. On a side note, as a result of said Internet justice, Karen (the bus monitor) is in for a very special gift. The vacation of a lifetime. http://www.indiegogo.com/loveforkarenhklein?c=home

That's wrong. Ads are always in DXT1 format, no alpha
-
Maybe you didn't save the ads as DXT1 with no transparencies?

Are we REALLY doing this? This post alone is more banworthy than the OP talking about his own 2K12 mod. While I do love the overhaul of the "little things", kmp, you and your modders still have the wrong colors for all the uniforms. I'll try and translate what I want to say in korean thanks to google: 내가 지금까지 좋아하고 있지만, 너희들은 아직 경기 의 유니폼에 대한 잘못된 색상을 가지고 난 이미 다른 업데이 트에서 근육의 질감과 하늘을 사용하고 있지만, 이것이 아주 좋아 보인다. 우리는이 사이트에서 뭔가를 사용하는 경우, 우리 또는 신용 만든 사람 줄 것을 요청해야합니다. 당신을 감사하십시오!

Random Thoughts On A Sunday Morning Updated To 11-24

....spent most of the week at home, even though it was really beautiful outside. Unfortunately it's been really, really hard to reset my sleeping pattern so I miss most of the morning and afternoon. As of this post I should be asleep but I'm not able to. ...got back into modding the past few weeks. Personally I feel like many people felt about 2K's baseball offerings: It could have been much more. It's easy to mod things especially when a lot of the tools used to mod come from the NBA 2K series. Since I've gotten back into modding, I've gotten back into visiting a few old sites like sportslogos.net and uniwatchblog, among others. Thanks to DetroitStyle, I've also been on the lookout as to what teams are wearing on the field to tailor my uniform update accordingly. I've tinkered with the game so much that I've made a tumblr account keeping track of all my little discoveries, or as I call them (small victories) in the world of modding. ...I've also gotten into house music production to complement my DJing stuff. It's a little rough around the edges but I hope I can take this summer to learn a few things and come up with my own little composition. No dubstep though. ...I'm pretty glad with how the Yankees have been playing recently. 8 straight wins so far, including a win which didn't involve the longball? Awesome. Our starters are continuously weaving gems, and in the context of days where Sabathia starts, keeping the team in the game, so that's good too. ...I had an extremely thrilling, and satisfying victory with the Miami Marlins in MLB 12: The Show a few days ago. While I do experience gamer rage when my hitters slump, I hadn't played The Show in a while since I was on a losing streak of about...10 games in my season with the Miami Marlins. I figured you know what, I'll just leave the game alone for a bit, play some other games in my backlog and get back to it again some other time. Maybe my hitters have all just ran through a cold streak, or maybe it was because I was playing MLB 2K12 on the PC that my timing was WAY OFF as a hitter, but hey, this is baseball. Things happen. -
Yes. Any equipment color changes go through ty's editor
-
http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=6474 there you go
-
Ah OK, so basically, you want to change the color of a team's helmet. It's not like MVP 2005 where there's a helmet texture for you to change or fix or anything like that. The helmet itself is assigned a color based on what the team uses according to the roster file you load up to play. It's pretty complicated but I'll simplify: The roster you are using dictates the values any uniform slot in particular has, from team colors to equipment colors, whether or not they have names on the back of the jerseys, etc. Since you want to change the Red Sox helmet color, what you'd want to do is load up the roster you are using to play MLB 2K12 using Ty's MLB2K12 Roster Editor and click the Uniforms tab after the roster is loaded. In the default roster, the Red Sox uniforms are in slots 206 to 213. Red Sox Home and Away jerseys are 206 and 207, respectively. From here, what you want to do is change Team Color 3 to whatever it is that you want and change the values of Helmet Bill/Front/Back to Team Color 3. Make sure you click SAVE at the bottom so the values are retained in the roster file otherwise you will lose ALL your changes for that slot.

The file with the texture for the helmet?

Post some screenshots and maybe we can help you figure it out
