  1. I heard there was a disgruntled ex-EA employee who is selling them from the trunk of his car for $25 right outside the main gate of EA headquarters!
  2. Only other thing I can think is that you have TOO much machine to run the game smoothly as stupid as that sounds. If it's a duo or quad core system, maybe shut off all but 1 core and try that. Otherwise I'm outta ideas for ya.
  3. Did you apple the official EA patch (at least #3) prior to installing the mod? Does it do this with the base game with patch #3? What is your graphics card? Is HD 7870 an integrated card? Have you tried this on a PC with an dedicated vid card? What is the 1080p patch? Do you mean the resolution changer? Does it do this without this patch? Bottom line is you have too many factors. After seeing if the native game plays okay, you can then rule in/out what's causing this. If the game is still laggy/jittery in its native form, I would say it's either that you didn't apply the official EA patch or it's your integrated video card.
  4. Ya, compared one of the rosters and saw that right away. Regardless, that's a helluva lot of work generating all those names and creating players. Amazing feat. It also gives this version replay value. I guess technically if one wanted to, you could do an actual rating comparisons and do global edits in some of the most important attributes. Again, well, well done!
  5. This could bring some new life to offline play for me. Thanks for that. The only minor things I saw were the 1st basemen need 1B mitts; one of the Easton bats I saw had the text backwards on the bat. Also wondering if the players are real players which I can easily check on my own. Thank you very much again.
Quite an amazing feat. It's a shame more will not realize it as they have moved on from MVP baseball, but that's there loss, especially with something like this iteration. Can't imagine the amount of time put into this.
  6. Wow. That sounded like something from a movie.
  7. https://youtu.be/v8GMFkc3iSA
  8. Then you probably didn't install them properly. You don't simply overwrite. Delete the files that are in there and then unzip/rar to the same location. But to definitely see who is on the rosters, you can import them to MVPedit to view in there.
  9. I took that mod and simply colored the ball completely red (I don't think Trues would care). I'm not very good with .fsh files and I may not have saved it properly, so use at your own risk. If this doesn't work, one of these other guys who understand .fsh file and how they have to be saved could possibly further help you. Trues_MLB-Ball_RED.rar
  10. I refuse to call him j-hey
  11. Correct I did suggest that because the shout box is limited. I do recall there was someone who was making PS2 rosters, but was selling them. That's the best suggestion I can give. I doubt you're going to find anything on the typical sites.
  12. Amazing, amazing stuff. Perhaps someone here who knows sound files would know how to change the sound for aluminum bats and release a mod for it.
  13. You said a roster would be cool. All the tools to make one are available in the downloads section, minimally MVPedit. You can use baseballresource for the rosters for that year. Yes, it will take some time, but that's how this works.
  14. Perfect..... sounds like you're set then. Looking forward to it.
  15. You're in the wrong thread, but check this one:
  16. Congrats to the Indians fans! Made a little photoshop for you as a memento of this series:
  17. You're trying to discredit something that clearly you are totally mistaken of, and I'm the class act. Sure. Benoit is on the Blue Jays as I'm proving here with the roster editor pictures. Show me your proof (without manipulating the download). Included the Mariners rosters as well, as you seem easily confused. I even outlined Benoit so you could easily see it, because, again, I know how confused you can get. So instead, how about showing some appreciation for someone who spent dozens and dozens of hours not just moving guys around, but making objective changes to attributes and trying to refine the product so that a lot of people here could enjoy them. But no, let me guess.... you're a malcontent who generally pisses and moans about just about anything. And as far as you doing a roster yourself..... I don't see that happening. Seems like your contribution history is a little light:
  18. What you do is, download MVPedit. Download my roster making charts. You'll want to use baseballreference.com primarily. Since you probably would have a tough time matching up faces, you'll probably want to make them all generics (faces 901-915). Good luck!
  19. Just tuned into Cubs/Dodgers. Decided I'm just going to enjoy the series. Let the better team win. Man, in the early going it just has the feel like anything the Cubbies do is golden.
  20. Yes. He was. That's why he's not on the Mariners. He's on the Blue Jays. "End of season" is not about what we agree on. We're not collaborating. It's defined by my description as I'm the roster maker. It's not the rosters on the last day of the season as I've explained. But I'm not sure what you're looking at or reading. But at least we agree on something. You should shut up (and do them yourself).

    MVP Mods

Yes. IP to IP. And do what BigRog said. And the closer you and your opponent live together, the smoother the game play should be. Also, it seems to work better if you both have a dedicated graphics card.
  22. Probably don't want to upload your pictures as well.
  23. Well.... he was really good in that commercial. I really hope the Phillies could nail down Trout and they could go head to head more. So now I'm torn. Would love to root for the former Phillies, now Dodgers, but a side of me would like to see the Cubbies. But seems like Chapman is a scumbag. Hard to pick. I think I'm leaning Dodger blue actually. Cannot root for the Jays one bit. Go Tribe.
