Well, Rotoworld + baseballreference are good to figure the pitchers. Long relievers are the biggest pain in the ass, but you just put the most logical in there. There are gonna be a few guys who some will think need to be on the MLB squad. So you just move them. Hot/cold zones will be updated too. Was only partially done with those before (going with ESPN's chart for last 2 seasons). Not sure if I'm going to have time or desire to update all batting and pitching attributes, or the important ones. I'll look at the young guys for sure and then maybe adjust the top 25ish and bottom 25ish guys, if warranted. Addendum: American League done. NL will take longer.... more hot/cold spots for them to do.

Ok guys....with roster expansion coming in September, it's almost impossible to have regular rosters reflect what's going on. So I'll do what I did last year and have rosters reflect guys who predominantly gave the most service to the team throughout the year, with some exceptions (e.g., Carlos Gomez does not belong in the minor leagues, certain relievers who may have the time in, but just fell apart ERA wise, etc.). I'll post them the regular way instead of asking for requests. Should be a week or so. Then any moves for the remainder of the year, you'll be on your own.

The only way I know to use a controller for menus is to use "joy2key". It's an app that converts your keyboard commands to your controller.

Upset here. But again good stats including pitch count. CHC163.htm

I can't remember where the hell I started the last thread on this, but thought I would play with this a bit more especially since I recently tweaked the datafile slightly. Overall, I like this adjustment which produced a result this game using today's starting pitchers, but not reflective of the true lineups. Thought the pitch count was especially good. I'm going to try one more then. HOU vs PIT attached. HOU163.htm

I'm trying to fantasy draft using total classics but it creates crashes

I think you've answered your own question. -
You don't realize the amount of work that would take. Download MVPedit and start creating some players. Very time consuming.

Never found the knucklecurve to move much in a random fashion.... only break down. You can easily tweak the pitch in the .dat files, however. You'd have to set the movement to 0.

You can also try CamStudio

Try patch 3 only. Should do the trick.

Thus, the PM me.

that's deep

PM me if you want a copy. There's a few created players. Working on hot/cold zones to reflect what ESPN has for the last 2 years. There are no updated contact/power or pitching attributes to speak of. If I have time I'll do that at the end of the year.

Come on guys...look around a bit: http://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/57795-xbox-2016-mods/

???????? No seriously...that's where I would look.

As pointed out in the other Xbox recent thread, there are ways to go about utilizing a recent PC roster, but you have to make sure the Xbox will "like" it. See that thread.

Experiment with reducing the free agent pool. If that doesn't work, then it could be that there is someone pulling on a cyberface and it's not liking it. Try 2 teams where you've changed all the cyberfaces to default (901-915).

In the download section I would imagine.

if you can do portraits...that would be huge, especially for the MLB level. If so, I would wait until after the deadline. (i've found the easiest way to view who is missing is right in the game itself.... MVPedit is slower to load portraits)

kyleb couldn't be more spot on (and knows his stuff). If I recall, I eventually went to all generic cybers for the updated rosters. I found it satisfying that PC rosters could work by themselves (though I would take the FA pool way down). Keep in mind that you have the advantage of true 720 wide screen definition versus what's available on a PC (though that does seem backwards). If I recall also, there was one of the 19 .dat files for the rosters that had to be put in a separate folder from the other 18.

How to get MVP Baseball 2005 to work on Windows 10
Gordo replied to Brent2015's topic in Mod Tutorials
1. I can't imagine doing this. Seems like a major pain in the ass 2. There is already a Windows 10 thread 3. There's no need to quote yourself. Just edit your initial posting 4. I've already said what you said in your second posting in the W10 thread 5. Welcome to the site -
You have to rule out what's causing it and the only way to do that is to install mods one at a time.

I'll repost here what I PM'd you just in case anyone else needs it. As far as the stamina changer (btw, not mine.... I just posted the file for the guy who devised it) here's what you do: after you complete a game, exit the game and get to the screen where it shows the 2 pitchers of record alt+tab to minimize the game and run the stamina changer (I put shortcuts in a file on my desktop to get to the utilities I mainly use (see pic) the stamina changer will find the address of where the game is running an apply the existing tweak (if you don't think it's reducing the stamina enough, go back into the game, minimize again and run it again to see if you can get further reduction) stamina changer closes on its own, no need to confirm That's pretty much it. If it's not running, per tywiggins, the utility creater: If you have 32 bit windows, you may need to install these: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistrubutable Package (x86) Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86) If you have 64 bit windows, you may need to install these: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x64)

Good deal. yeah, anything past Windows 7 seems to have some mysterious crap going on.
