  1. Version 1.0.0

    420 downloads

For watching PC vs PC games at the MLB level. This is not to be used for multiple season play; only for viewing single games. Includes recommended datafile.txt and sliders w/ instructions included.
Thank you again for keeping up with these.
  2. Well sure....it's always nice when someone else does it.
  3. Ya dude... you gotta rename this file. That's just bad.
  4. The ratings are whatever EA has built into making them up. You're not going to control them ultimately. In the grand scheme of things they're really not all that important.
  5. Sorry...not a fan of that roster set. I think contact/power is overinflated overall and there are no cold spots for any batters.
  6. You can still use any datafile.txt you want to change cam views, etc.
  7. As long as the cyberfaces being used in the models.big file have the correct numbers, I don't see why not. The Caribe guys usually tend to use the official faces. I'm actually going to test MVP 16 out tonight. Seems like you don't need the CD's at all. Word will travel fast.
  8. You don't really need to create them. If you can run MVPEdit on your PC, you can export individual players from another roster and then import them to the given team of your choice. Of course you have to balance the teams to where you are importing.
It looks like you have some in the usually wide format and some with a normal aspect. I can't image that they are showing up in the game as they should then.
  9. You can do so manually in the config text file found in your MVP2005 folder/documents section (not main folder)
  10. THE very first line in the description says that they are not opening day rosters. You may have to adjust cyberface numbers to get players to show the most recent cyberfaces, which is easily done through MVPedit or the attrib.dat file itself.
This guys just keeps going and going! Thanks very much!
Thank you for all of your time and effort! Much appreciated.
  11. Have no idea what you are talking about. You're welcome to produce your own file. Many attributes are based on actual statistics over the years for these players, not what you THINK they should be.
Tremendous facepack and the usual excellent work!! Mucho gracias!!!
  12. If you mean your personal W/L stats etc., I would assume those are in your profile file.
  13. It's how politically correct the pitcher is as the game goes on.
  14. It depends on what you added it to.... the original install? Post something in the corresponding support thread, such as something related to your operating system or you can start a new thread in the mvp2005 support section if you don't see anything related.
  15. Compatibility mode would be good. Also, are you trying to run the original version or the MVP 15 mod? Try running either MVP 08 or MVP 12 as those were the last two highly stable mods for most people.
  16. If someone has an answer, they'll respond. They sort of frown on bumping your own threads around here. Just be patient.

    MVP 16

You can get lots of mods for 2016, just check the downloads. But there is no total conversion mod for 2016, nor is one planned.
  18. Yes...tools/options... check show players portraits and players faces. if they have a generic cyberface, none will show. Some players may have the correct portrait number, but if you don't have a portrait installed for that player, it will say the above.
  19. I don't have that DLL in either of those folders. Maybe it's hindering MVPedit. Dunno. Maybe temp move it from SysWOW and take it out of System32, as it wasn't there to begin with.
  20. Right click on shortcut to program. Choose compat tab. Check "run this program in compat mode for:" and choose XP/SP3. Also check "run this prog. as an admin."
