UPDATE:: just wanted to let people know a installer in in the works right now for both my hi res basemods and grass and dirt mods. thanks warriorxlegolas for making this happen. I will surely add you to my special thanks list.

UPDATE: The HI RES GRASS AND DIRT HAS BEEN RELEASED!!!!!

Leave comments if you can

Hey great release!

Please forgive me because it's been brought up before, but I'm still getting some shimmering even with the high-res grass.

I'm running on a NVidia GeForce 6200 LE 128MB video card, with 1GB of ram and an AMD x64 Dual Core 4200 Processor. Does this sound like my machine has the specifications to avoid shimmering?

I've tried unchecking "application controlled" and enabling antialiasing, but it slowed down my game. Then I tried lowering the video setting in-game to speed everything up, but I still saw shimmering and the game was still slowed down.

I have the color quality set at 32-bit (highest), image settings at 'high quality', screen refresh rate at 60hz, and anisotropic filtering set at 16x.

Again, I know this has been addressed before, but I feel I've exhausted previous advice given on this topic. If anyone has any additional suggestions it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's the AntiAliasing, SloppyChris

Hmmm. Thanks man, I'm going to keep messing around with it. "4x" seems to be the highest setting my video card will allow, but I'm still seeing grass flicker.

Are you saying that isn't enough?

I've got the shimmering as well. I tried a few stadiums and the grass itself looks fantastic, but the shimmering is just brutal. Hopefully this can get fixed b/c the mod looks great!

UPDATE: Now updated my grass and dirt mod. It has the installer. Just double click on the application and let it install. Should make all stadiums have my mod in less tha 10 minutes. Thanks a lot warriorxlegolas for making the installer for me.

Tomorrow the basemod installer will be released

I can't download the file, it says "File Does Not Exist." I waited five seconds and that showed up, then I clicked on the alternate link to no avail. Can someone please upload this somewhere or something? Or maybe a different link?

Let me guess you’re using Internet Explorer? Try using FireFox to download it until someone fixes the file name.

For some reason I had to change my Fox overlay to the Espn one to get Chicagocubs720's wrigley day to quit crashing. Wrigley night worked fine though. Everything looks fine so far but i haven't tried every stadium. I still have the shimmering with a 7800GT@4XAA 16XAF. The dirt is a huge improvement. I also installed the bases in wrigley and they look great, can't wait to get the installer for those. Nice work boricuapapi1885 and warriorxlegolas!
