Go to about 13 minutes into the video and you'll find some actual gameplay of MLB2K7! Animation looks pretty smooth actually...Fielding still looks a little sketchy.

The video is marked "CES 2007 Floor Tour - Day 1"

Ive got say Im pretty impressed. From the 1up article : Playing in the Oakland coliseum it became a blinding orange ball looking out towards left-center field late in the 7th inning.

Thats the kind of detail one should expect from a next gen baseball game. I hope shadows on the field effect hitting and timing. I just want to know more about offseason stuff.

WOW I just watched the 2nd meagupload video and the Curt Schilling SO cutscence was absolutly freaking awesome.

Alright Im sold already. Zambrano falls off the mound just like in real life. I bought Xbox for MVP and now it looks like 2K7 will make have to go out and charge the 360 to my cc come March.

Awesome but the animations aren't so fluid yet. The transitions in animation look herky-jerky IMO, but I'll take into consideration that this is an Alpha version of the game. However, I sure like the attention Crisp gives that deep shot to center though, if you watch the video closely he looks at the ball, looks at the wall again, looks again towards the ball, and again at the wall. It's hard to describe but you can see it.

I hope it's not done, any thing that can be added to make the game better, should be added. BTW, it's January, the FINAL will probably be released in March like always.

On the Coco Crisp video, it looked like he should've made some contact with the wall but didn't. The graphics are stunning, let's just hope the gameplay, and moving the fielder, etc. is just as smooth. Remember, appearance isn't everything. Stances, Deliveries and overall animations look a lot better, thanks to Brinkman. I hope Everything else is just as new. I can't wait until a Demo is released (if it is planned, like every other game).

One thing I hated about the 2K baseball games, also, are the old portraits and all the rookies and minorleaguers having portraits of guys looking nothing like him, and also having hats that don't go on the team. John Maine having a White Sox cap, when he was never with the white sox, and it wasn't actually John Maine in his portrait, it's sort of a generic portrait. Stuff like that. We'll see what's the deal when the game is released.

Question: Did XBOX release many roster patches for 2K6 for the 360? Since I'm going to the console now it won't be as easy keeping up to date rosters, or is it?

Yes, they have roster updates, but their most recent update is from October. they can't really release anything during the offseason, since players are moving around so much, and there are still quite a few free agents. By the time players have settled in and rosters become set, they will already have 2k7 out.

Get vlc player. It plays just about everything

I'll check it out, thanks.

How does Action Replay work? Do they have it for 360?

Theres a docking unit with a usb end to it so it plugs into your computer. The memory card plugs into that. You transfer save files from your computer( that you download from codejunkies.com or elsewhere) and then use the memory card to transfer the files to the xbox. I dont have a 360 but that product looks to be the samething. The plus is that you can save files on your computer for storage (if necessary) For that price its a must have if you're into sports titles and keeping rosters up to date.
