Looks like everything is right in MVPedit but you don't have the texture downloaded for the sleeves. You'll have to rip that from a game file that does have the sleeves (which is just arm skin colors). I'm not positive, but they may be found in the initstaz.big file where you can find the data for balls, bats, gloves, etc.

Make sure you've selected the correct directory for the MVP version you'd like to edit. In the options menu of MVPedit, on the lefthand side, choose the one you'd like to see the portraits and faces for. If you have multiple folders for different mods, it'll go with the default MVP Baseball 2005 folder.

Last ditch option is the extractor tool, which can be found in the MVP Baseball 2005 - Tools & Editors section of our downloads. You may have to change the language to English since I think it's somthing different in the default settings, but that's how I've managed to get tricky team sound files from MVP05. Open the .big file in that, and if that doesn't work, I've got nothin'. -

Make sure the .big file isn't set to "read only". If the file is read-only, it won't let you load or extract anything. -

Only other program I can think of is bigGUI. It's not great, but it should do the work. -
Yeah, my plan is to have screenshots and maybe have a daily or series recap "newspaper" with screenshots and written articles. I might try to do videos for the big games, but it'll depend on the memory resources that get taken up. The computer I run MVP on is on the older side and I'm not sure if it'll be able to handle Movie Maker. As for a team, the easy answer is the Yankees since I really got into baseball watching the 98 Yanks. I do have a soft spot for the Expos though.

Hey all, So once MVP 98 is (finally) released, I wanted to get a dynasty going. This has happened in fits and starts for a while (and if any mods are reading this, all my other previous dynasty posts can be deleted/archived if not already). I'm thinking about doing this regardless of responses here, but I wanted to see how many people were interested in a possible simulated radio broadcast featuring commentary by yours truly? It's truly a hobby for me, but I did go to school for broadcast journalism and want to breathe life back into these old games and the dynasties, which seems to be a forgotten (or too inconsistent) feature of this site. The medium would likely be audio only because the video takes up way too much bandwidth on my MVP-dedicated computer. So please feel free to chime in if you'd like, if you have any ideas for features, if you'd be interested in pregame/recap shows, if you have an ideas for fake sponsors, etc.

That'd be interesting for sure.

Truist Park. American Family Field. Guys named Arismendy Alcantara. The Tri-City Dust Devils. These have one thing in common - they are a pain in the butt to get into MVP Baseball 2005. Even if you're a great audio modder, things like this can really drive you nuts. That's why I've created this collaboration request. I'm willing and ready to lend my voice to become the new play-by-play announcer of MVP Baseball 2005. I just need someone who's willing to take the pbpdat.big file and help convert those audio files to ones that I create with all of these new names. This will be a heavy undertaking - a lot like Legends of the Booth - but it would only be replacing Kuiper announce. If anyone is interested in teaming up to make things a bit more current, please let me know.

After literal years of trying to get this to work, I've finally cracked the code on how to edit team and stadium audio. If you're looking to finally update the various leagues to their present day team names, if you're looking to finally have that new corporate sponsored stadium name, or if you want to roll things back for a Total Classic, this tutorial will teach you how to do just that. The tutorial comes with a MSWord document and the NHL 07-06 ASF Player, a tool needed to export files. -
So according to multiple current players, the Yankees analytics team has been overwhelming with new players, bombarding them with all sorts of information that they don't necessarily know how to decipher. When you don't have a manager that can communicate what all these numbers mean, it's going to lead to dips in performance. And the Yankees have gone all in on analytics to the point it's paralyzing. It's like freaking pumpkin spice. So when you get away from that, you're gonna do better.

No luck there either. I disabled my ad blocker and my popup blocker and I'm still having issues with getting the two factor window to pop up. Kinda frustrating. Ended up disabling 2FA.

Hey all. Having an issue using Microsoft Edge where I can't get the 2 factor authentication window to pop up. I've disabled my popup blockers and ad blockers, and nothing is coming through. It's the most recent version of Edge on Windows 11. Was able to access things via Chrome though.

Looked around but couldn't find anything on this topics... Anybody know how to work TyWiggins' DL Editor? I'm able to get to the point where it says "Press I to import, anything else to export", so there's clearly a file I need to import. How do I go about getting this file, or what do I have to put in a text file in order to get a proper disabled list to get uploaded? Thanks in advance.

Another correction of a mod here. This time it's Sean O's fantastic Exhibition Stadium. The stadium is clearly a masterpiece of modding, but one minor thing overlooked was the makeup of the field. In Sean O's original, there was artificial turf, but there was the normal dirt infield. With this updated mod, I've corrected the field surface by changing the color of the turf a little bit and then changing things from the dirt infield to the sliding pits that Exhibition Stadium featured. You'll also notice some late 90s logos on the outfield walls. This is because Exhibition Stadium will feature as one of the Classic Stadiums in the MVP 98 mod. This mod will replace the SkyDome/Rogers Centre in a default install of MVP Baseball 2005. Always remember to back up your files. Enjoy! -

Another re-upload of Salva's incredible work, and another stadium that had a coding error that corrupted the cram32.fsh file. Once again, I was able to resurrect the missing textures to remove the errors, and so that you can enjoy the fully modded Seibu Dome. You'll notice that beyond the outfield are trees, which is because the Seibu Dome is actually built like that, with views of the greenery around the dome. This will replace Metropolitan Stadium in a default install of MVP Baseball 2005. Always remember to back up your files. Enjoy! -

This is an edited re-release of salva's Tokyo Dome. There were multiple issues with the cram32.fsh file that salva had created, and I was able to fix them. You'll now be able to play in the Tokyo Dome without missing textures and without the huge "Giants" banner in the right field bleachers. This stadium will overwrite the Astrodome in a default install of MVP Baseball 2005. Always remember to back up your files. Enjoy! -
