Now this can only work with the help of others, and I know there is interest because of previous attempts, but lets try and finish this time. Of course, it would not be 100% authentic with tournaments, etc, but the teams and players themselves should be cool. I'm currently working on Conference Alignments and backround/ loading screens. What needs to be done: - Uniforms - Rosters - Portraits - Loc Files (changing text) - Stadiums (MiLB stadiums will do for now) Uniform References- http://www.gangstyle.com/sportsapparel/ncaabaseball.php NCAA Logos- http://sportslogos.net/sport.php?id=6 I used MVP 06 as a reference. They used 128 D1 teams, but we can only use 120, replacing MLB, AAA, AA, and A. So what are your thoughts? It is a lot of work, and even if it doesnt get done, it would be something cool to try again anyway. So, anyone in? I COULD try working on the rosters but doing all 120 teams alone is IMPOSSIBLE. Can rosters be done by 2 or more people? I mean is there a chance to import roster updates? The only idea I have is deleting all players from a standard MLB roster and create NCAA players. If we do it that way, we could load our newly created players up somewhere. mcoll Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 i'm already working this, at least uniforms part. i wasnt gong to spit this out quit yet, but i guess this forcing me to a little bit. the other thing i have is rough of how to the div teams would be setup. if your want that rough info i can get it for someone. the short answer is there are more d1 than just that, so what i did for the 120 teams is use the d1 football schools, that exactly 120 schools. i can send excel rough of what i was planning. right now i have about 6 schools done, but will press on. NYM, the first bit of advice I can give you on this is to be completely upfront with everyone that you are soliciting help from. Redsox is a guy with a wealth of information about creating uniforms properly. He can create any uniform out there and getting advice from him for this project will be invaluable to you. Anyway, I can help with uniforms, but we also must make some order in this. Like, I would take conference "a,b and c" while somebody else would do "d,e and f". The equiptment must correspond to sponsers for each school. If this gets done, well need order. That starts with what teams well be using exactly. mcoll86, is there anyway you can send me the list of schools and there conferences? Look at his stats: AVG: .357 R: 45 H: 84 2B 46 3B: 6 HR: 14 RBI: 83 SLG: .617 Using MVP Battier Rating Calculator (MLB Level) his attributes would be: Power 88 / Contact 95. Is that too much? We are not comparing his stats to MLB pitching, rather NCAA pitching, so if every player used here had there stats put into the calculator, it would be even. mcoll Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 i've already got the big ten coverd and the acc going, and the pac 10. like i said done unis for awhile but there issues your going to learn, if you havent done this before, and why i suggested the sheet and and i suggest be felxible about the looks to some point because of the uniforms limts, and lack of complete exact design issues, like some uniformto beact isnt happening or lack of pics or word scripts or logos. just trying to save you hard aches.
