replace the uniform_swy.iff file with another team and import the associated images in there. Resize one of the images I uploaded to 64x64 and try that out.

I wanted to run this idea by all of you, since we have all been friends for many years now. Last night, HFLR and I were chatting and catching up with life, modding and the success of MVP Caribe. We were reminiscing about modding and stuff, and it dawn upon the both of us that we should definitely look into filming a brief documentary about the site, MVP Baseball and how it brought us all here. Nothing incredibly lengthy, probably a one hour/45 minute short documentary, about: - The origins of MVPMods - How some of us who got into modding for MVP actually started - The "golden years" of the site, when things started to hit their stride - The end of MVP Baseball and the fallout from 2K acquiring the MLB licensing - The legacy of MVP Baseball and MVPMods and what it has meant to everyone involved (projects such as MVP Caribe, Total Classics, etc.) - Among other things that can be discussed could be some of the highs and lows in regards to the site, memorable moments, that one time Pirate got his Great American Ballpark mod posted in a PC gaming mag, stuff like that. While I am extending this invite to all of the modders and people from the "old guard", I was just wondering if anyone would want to hop on board and contribute something, given the immense size of the entire MVP/2K Baseball community. I think it would be awesome. As I sit here reminiscing on a lot of things that went down on this site, I realize that while we may just be a site based on PC baseball games, there are so many memories, friendships formed, drama, excitement, surprises, and people I will always remember. Honestly, to me it would feel like it would be the perfect way to preserve the work of more than 8 years of modding and being a part of this site/community, almost like a love letter/thank you note. Now, filming it all is going to be a ridiculous uphill climb, because many people do not live in the US, Some of us live in Asia, others live south of the equator, and some live in Europe, so what I could attempt to do would be like a skype call or have some things vlogged, and the footage compiled and added to the documentary. In no way would this be for profit or anything like that, it would honestly just be uploaded to YouTube, immortalized on its own channel. If anyone else is interested/has some ideas, I welcome them. Let's brainstorm.

PM has been sent ;)

Hang on to these for a bit. I may have something for you ;)

No, they were not.

I did have a few parks where I replaced a few things, but I never had the time to really finish any of them. I will look into seeing what I can re-color/what ads I can replace down the line.

It works fine, although I am having problems installing Steam.....:|

Windows 7 and above have different security measures that keeps people or programs from tinkering with the Program Files folder. The only way around this issue was to run every executable that would require you to mod MVP05 files within the Program Files folder as an Administrator. If necessary, you could run it in compatibility mode with Windows XP. If I can find my MVP 2005 discs, I'll test it out on my Windows 8 x64 rig and see if it all works like I'm assuming it would.

There's a glitch with MLB Today that causes the game to freeze up since there are no more days in the season to be played, although my copy (PC version) keeps October 2nd as its final day. The problem really is a glitch in how the game syncs the MLB Today scheduling data. What you can try and do is: 1) Play with the console disconnected, set the PS3 date back to something like September 23, 2012 (where there was still baseball to be played) 2) Once the game loads up and the home screen has the "current" date of September 23rd, simply connect the console back online, log in under your PSN account and download the latest live roster. Once you download and save the latest live roster, it should boot you back to the home screen and begin syncing the MLB Today data. The last date should be October 2nd or something like that. You can then exit the game and load it up again. It's a complicated procedure, but seeing as I don't own the PS3 version I am only trying to mirror the steps taken for the PC version. I hope I was of some help Good luck!

There is a fix. No utilities required. Search the forum for my workaround.

Random Thoughts On A Sunday Morning Updated To 11-24

...I'm going to get this as a poster to have one of the worst calls in MLB history immortalized: -
try this, I'm not sure what the mapping is so I don't know what to include verdana.7z

Not jersey fonts, I mean like the fonts used for in-game text. I'd love to totally overhaul that as part of a 2K13 mod since there is a utility that will generate bitmap fonts from true type fonts. If there is a way to extract the bitmap for fonts, this could mean the end of crappy HD fonts in this game Sock colors are defined via the textures in the uniform IFF files for that specific team.
-
You mean the greyish black color? That can be fixed in a uniform update for all the CAT jerseys
-
Is it possible to edit the FONT type though? Or is that in english.iff also

This mod contains about 30+ files that will replace every MLB/All-Star/Spring Training park. A majority if not all stadiums have been color corrected, and if applicable, cosmetically altered to reflect real life appearances. Lighting across all ballparks have been altered for night games as well as changes to the grass. Several modders spent a lot of work went into updating all 30 ballparks, so for everyone whose work is included in this update, a very special thank you. How to Install Simply extract all of the IFF files and place it in your MLB 2K12 directory. Your MLB 2K12 directory can be either in: OR That's all you need to do. Just start the game up, and enjoy! -

Is it possible to edit Roster.iff or is it strictly .ROS files only?

I'm pretty sure he'll provide documentation for things we can't find on our own when it finally releases

EDIT: AS OF MARCH 1ST, 2013 THIS FIX DOES NOT WORK.
-
Not really, there should be some way to decompile/recompile
-
I made a thread with all of the IDs. Thanks man.
