I've already started on pitcher's attributes (other than control --- already did that across the board earlier) for the projected starters. Found some pitchers for the AL starters who have dropped some pitches and others who have added. Some stamina got bumped up for most so far as well. Without indicating the ranking, so far the relative strength is: KC - DET - BAL - LAA.

When you get the game, check back in.

After you do something major to the game, rebooting your system, especially if on something later than XP is a good idea.

Dramatics aside......maybe installing via an ISO file just ain't gonna cut it. Where are your discs?

jshap: some people have reported a problem with just trades on. But especially injuries on is a culprit. You could attempt MLB only injuries / suspensions, but there's no guarantee. Until another roster comes out with full or nearly full squads, it's a problem of the way the game was programmed.

jshap: injuries / suspensions / trading ON? If so, that's your problem. If not, might be a minor league stadium or some other mod.

It's impossible for a computer to show something that just isn't there. It has to be reading the mod from somewhere. Look in both the Program Files and Program Files (x86) major sub-folders.

Because the shortcut is still pointed to the modded version?

If you read through Dennis' comprehensive description, you'd find that the jerseys especially were worked on. Faces are part of Homer's pack, but there may be some in there not to your preference (e.g., couple of Royals players I changed out). As far as rosters and pitchers like Greene, first off the rosters have been MLB focused all year. Then the last roster was related to amount of service a player gave the team throughout the year, regardless of having a season ending injury or not (e.g., that's why Sabathia IS on the NYY starting rotation). At the time these rosters were made, Greene was not a top 6 starting pitcher. In the course of deciding who to keep and who to ignore, some guys are just the odd man out. For a while I was doing a thread supplementing some players, but there didn't seem to be a lot of interest, so I didn't waste my time with it.

If all goes according to plans, there will be an MVP 14 Playoffs roster set similar to last year's. This means it will contain 8 SAV files so that you can jump right in with your team of choice. Rosters will be set asap after the knockout games are done. Unless someone tells me a better reliable source, I'll go with baseballprospectus.com (formerly MLBdepth) again. This could result in a mistake in any given lineup that you'll have to correct. If time permits, I'll look through the starters one last time for any pitching attribute updating.

How Do I Create And Iso Image Copy Of My Mvp Cd2? (Windows 8.1)
Gordo replied to vincentlunag's topic in MVP Baseball 2005
imgburn produced an I/O error message for CD2. Anyone ever encounter this and if so what can be done? -
Hey guys....not to be a party pooper, but Dennis made a separate questions and support thread for this kind of stuff. This thread is predominantly for general comments and maybe some general questions. We're starting to flood this thread with this one predicament. One last thing I'll say Louis is that just because it says your system may become unstable, I doubt that it will. Just create a restore point first and then bypass that warning.

One of the first fixes I ever saw around here for W7 users was installing it to a desktop folder. I don't think simply moving it to your desktop at this point will work. So uninstall. As far as official patches, all you need is #2 (or #3 if you're planning on playing online, from what I understood). So see what installing to a desktop folder might do. After installing to a desktop folder, I would still do the compatibility tab suggestions. If that still doesn't work, one last suggestion would be to try ticking the box entitled "Disable desktop composition" also under the Compatibility tab (right click on the .exe file or on the desktop shortcut and select "properties"). We have similar specs and vid cards (I have quad core), so this really should work.

Give this a whirl and see what you think: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

They don't freeze if the injuries/suspensions are off, but yes, they definitely could if left on. No mystery there.

Send me your .mbe file that you filled out and I'll see if I can reproduce the problem.

You did what? MLB only? No injuries/suspensions? For the love of Pete (sorry, Pete), please be specific. Or we're going to have to start paying this guy consultation fees! Someone please decode this. That guy above is VERY expensive.

Since the links aren't fixed as of yet, one of the admins. made it available, but it was buried in a thread....not that easy to find. Here:

Suggestions? Yes. Skip Vista like a stone across the largest body of water that you know with a fairly large explosive wrapped around it. Otherwise, look at the numerous threads regarding crashes. I'm sure you'll find a solution there.
