Another note to self, I think the mid-game crashes are a result of the lineups and rotations technically not being filled in despite the ability to go into exhibition play.

That has been explained a few posts over but it's worth repeating. Simply, none of the lineups are set yet, so the game is trying to draw players out of the lineup that aren't there. I also get crashes if I quickly try to start a game. However, if you get lineups corrected (I do the draft and optimize rosters in a dynasty) it does not crash. This file is merely a beta, and a very early one at that. Obviously, do not start dynasties with it. It is simply out there so people can check out the ratings and give me suggestions for edits.

I'll be doing organizational changes and other database changes for the next beta. Possibly lineups will be filled out if enough transactions take place by that time. A 'working' Beta is due out in mid-January, by then rosters should be filling out. For now, I'm going to update the all-star teams in my database, Here's what I did so far:

I think if you do both versions of the All Star teams, you shouldn't duplicate any players.

Also, Jason Marquis should be on the No-Stars team.

It's good that you're redoing these teams; it'll get rid of the Hidden players, and also lower the amount of players in the roster, allowing you to create more. You might be able to completely fill all minor league teams after finishing this.

When I try to put just the MLB All-Stars in I get an "35602 Key is not unique in connection" error. (The roster otherwise imports perfectly.)

When I try to put in just the MLB No-Stars (or both) it goes to this error while 'assigning players to teams' and crashes MVPedit saying: "Run-time error '3421': Datatype conversion error".

I could just continue with the roster as-is with the updated all-star teams, but it'd be nice to put in the other two over the legends and heroes since I already made them in notepad.

Hmm, did you rearrange each position in the .dat file? That could be the problem. I know it doesn't go C,1b,2b,etc. to Bench in the .dat.

It worked fine for my AL and NL all-stars, I just let the CPU play three innings and everything was fine.

Do I have to delete the heros and legends from the database first? How did you change your hero and legend teams?

Another working beta? I did not come up with a date yet but I can start constructing lineups soon. More FAs must sign though, but this off-season has luckily went fast. If some team gets their fans a Christmas present like Barry Zito and the soon to be overpaid Weaver and Suppan, then possibly I put out another beta with all these other updates that were mentioned above.

Okay, I just created a CAP for Kei Igawa, possibly I'll upload his .mep in about 1 1/2 hours.
