xcrunner4623
http://sfgiantsflgators.tripod.com//Players/Bonds_Barry.html He's on the DL right now with a sprained MCL - he had turned it on before the injury and sits at 15 home runs right now, putting him six away from tying Hank. Seems like you got the problem I do with hitting home runs. If I do hit them, they are either solo shots or like two runs shots, hence the low RBI totals. Nice dynasty though I have been checking in. Maybe my version of Bonds can beat yours to 756. :party2: Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/26942-what-i-should-have-done/page/14/#findComment-389235 Share on other sites

JoeRudi26
This may sound like some work, I'm not really sure. But I think I remember someone making a GIF from a partial video file here once, and just posting it in a regular thread. That would be a GREAT addition if it could be done. I'm not sure how it's done, or how big the file (GIF) would be, but it would great to watch the Bonds HR race! xcrunner4623
I am trying to make it much harder on myself by only inserting Bonds in during right handed pitchers, using him sparingly as a DH. I haven't played a full game with Bonds yet, so you have the upper hand so far my friend. What batting stance do you have him in your game? I'm not sure how it's done, or how big the file (GIF) would be, but it would great to watch the Bonds HR race! well, you even knowing what that kind of thing is called puts you one step ahead of me - i wouldn't even know where to start with something like that, but it's a great idea. as for "the chase," i've been hesitant to even mention it because of the anti-Bonds comments that were dropped in the last Giants dynasty i did. to tell you the truth, i expected a "thank god"-type comment when i posted that he hit the DL a couple games ago. i suppose i could do a HR tracker type thing when he gets back from the DL - but i'm not too optimistic on how that's going to go over. thanks for checkin in JR I am trying to make it much harder on myself by only inserting Bonds in during right handed pitchers, using him sparingly as a DH. I haven't played a full game with Bonds yet, so you have the upper hand so far my friend. What batting stance do you have him in your game? eric chavez's stance - it's actually fairly close with regards to the pre-pitch movements. sfgiantsflgators
I had to type something because the coolest thing ever to happen just...well...happened. Unfortunately, I'm tired as crap and it's bedtime. So you'll have to wait until tomorrow night I promise it's worth the wait. For Giants fans anyway :stickman: (No, Cain did not throw a no-hitter...THAT would be the coolest thing of all-time. This is just the coolest thing up to this point.) oxbay
Anyway, I am guessing it was a walk-off grand-slam. Maybe something like 2 or 3 homeruns in a row, finishing with a walk off? sfgiantsflgators
no walk-offs since we played in Houston. plus, we had a three run lead at the time of the "coolest thing ever," so it didn't really have an impact on the game. it did involve a home run though i should be home around 9ish to do the recap. sfgiantsflgators
May 16, 2007 Lincecum Homers to Cap Off Five-Run Ninth, Giants Win 11-6 Pedro Feliz had a monster game tonight, going 4-5 with a triple and three home runs while driving in four. By the time the game ended, however, his performance was overshadowed by a very unlikely source... Eddy Martinez-Esteve probably wishes he could play in Houston more often as he has gone 6-10 in the past two games, hitting four home runs and driving in five over the span. He has raised his average to .303. Matt Cain was good early on but struggled later, leaving the game in the eighth inning after sur- rendering a solo home run to Brad Ausmus. In the end, Cain allowed six runs on eight hits in 7+ inn- ings of work. Mark Loretta crosses the plate in the bottom of the eighth inning on a single by Lance Berkman, tying the game 6-6. With the score tied 6-6 and Pedro Feliz on third with a lead-off triple, Brad Lidge entered the game for the Astros. He would leave two home runs and four runs later with one image in his mind... The story of the night was not the three home runs by Pedro Feliz or the performance of EME. The story of the night came when "The Enchanter" stepped to the plate after the Giants took a 9-6 lead in the ninth inning. Staying in the game to pitch the bottom half of the frame, Tim Lincecum failed to get two consecutive bunts down and was forced to swing away with an 0-2 count. A two-run home run later, one of the most promising pitching prospects looked much larger than his 155-pound frame sug- gested. Scoring T1: Feliz two run HR T2: Winn single scores Frandsen T3: Feliz solo HR; EME solo HR B4: Lee solo HR T5: Feliz solo HR B6: Lamb two run HR B8: Ausmus solo HR; Berkman single scores Hidalgo, Loretta T9: Molina single scores Feliz; EME solo HR; Lincecum two run HR W – Lincecum (2-2) L – Nieve (0-2) Player of the Game: Pedro Feliz 4-5, 3B, 3 HR, 4 RBI, 4 R For Boxscore, click here Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/26942-what-i-should-have-done/page/14/#findComment-389912 Share on other sites

sfgiantsflgators
May 17, 2007 Giants Continue to Ride Offensive Wave Back to .500, Sweep Astros with 15-1 Win Luke Scott grounds out with the bases loaded to end the bottom of the first. Roy Oswalt (right, center) held the Giants in check until the fourth inning; then the Giants broke through for six runs, four of which came on one swing from Randy Winn (left) to cap off the outburst. Oswalt was pulled after that at bat. Eddy Martinez-Esteve continued his hitting outburst tonight, going 3-5 with a double and two RBI. In the three game series, EME went 9-15 with a double, four home runs, and seven RBI. On the other side of the spectrum, Fred Lewis has struggled this season, hitting just .188 so far in 2007. Tonight was no exception as Lewis was the only Giant - including Noah Lowry - that didn't get a hit. He struck out three times in an 0-5 night. Noah Lowry was stellar tonight, allowing just one run on eight hits in a complete game effort. Lowry also contributed at the dish, going 2-5 with a double and an RBI. Randy Winn was hit by a pitch from Jimmy Barthmaier to lead off the top of the ninth. Both sides were warned but no one was ejected.
