First off I would like to say that I am not real good with determining these batting stances/pitching deliveries.

I was wonderin if anybody out here can help me find the right batting stance for some of these Minnesota Twins and Florida Marlins:

Marlins:

-Paul LoDuca (crouched?)

-Jeff Conine

-Alex Gonzalez

-Matt Treanor

Twins:

-Brent Abernathy

-Luis Rodriquez

-Jacque Jones (Generic, A. Jones...?)

-Terry Tiffee

-Shannon Stewart

-Joe Mauer

-Justin Morneau

-Torii Hunter

-Mike Redmond

Other notes:

-I know this was mentioned earlier in this thread but, Dimitri Young's stance is definitly similar to Joe Morgan.

-Alex Sanchez maybe Cliff Floyd?

-

Paul LoDuca should be Jim Thome.

Gosh! How many stances does bonds have? :eew:

Then, Grissom must have Durham's stance!

really? cabrera seems to crouched to me. jeter's matches better imo cause of the pressure on the back foot and the foot tapping, but crosby doesn't wiggle his bat.

Well I don't follow the A's but when I was watching them play the Yanks I took notice of a few guys stances. From what I could see Generic 2 seemed to fit him best.

Strawberry would have to be the Glaus stance.

.. the only thing I have found for the swing type is #1 is a two handed follow through and #2 is a one handed follow through. Have no idea what the rest are.

The best I've been able to gather is this:

SWING TYPE & DESCRIPTION

1 - Don't release (two handed follow-thru)

2 - Release late & high (one handed, as are 3-5)

3 - Release late

4 - release early & high

5 - release early

ok because i thought there would be more than just 1 batting stance edit for the cardinals

the cardinals are all messed up in the default settings. a good example is Bo Hart (AAA, 2B) - they have him upright and as a switch hitter. He's "generic" and he only bats right. He experimented with switch hitting in spring training and then gave up.

They have So Taguchi using Ray Durham's swing and that's just rediculous. I'm not sure what'd be better (maybe just generic), but Durham's is rediculous.
