As U wil c I am biased toward my Yankees and there are a couple others (Strasburg,Heyward,Chapman) that i looked @ future performance

The Major league rosters are fairly accurate but the minors need work but are a good basis for someone to edit if they choose!

Final version:
This final version includes the actual lineup for both NL & AL teams, pitchers staff and reserve players who performed at game day, still limited to the 25 men rosters defined in MVP, so maybe some players will be missing, but only a few. It also includes the org.dat file that updates the managers for both teams. So copy org.dat and roster.dat to overwrite their similars at EA SPORTS/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database/. I hope you like it.

Correction to First Version:
Due to a mistake I included Pablo Sandoval as 3b in the reserve of the NL All Star Team, when actually it correspond to Ryan Zimmerman, so the roster.dat in this package is corrected in this sense, the rest is the same. Sorry for such error and enjoy.

First Version:
With the 2009 All Stars Game coming soon, we have updated both league teams for MVP according to the NL and AL rosters recently announced for such great event. Actual rosters are composed by 33 players per team, while MVP rosters are limited to 25, so we have shaped each team with 2 catchers, 8 infielders, 5 outfielders and 10 pitchers. While main positions are already fixed, bench players, starter pitchers and bullpen have been chosen taking into account best performance stats during the present season and having some balance. Also lineups have been conceived by myself the same way.
From last KG 7.1 roster update we have only modified roster.dat file, specifically those lines from 752 to 801 for including both rosters. For installation just pick this file and overwrite the one located at EA SPORTS/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database/, or just copy the above mentioned lines correspondingly in your roster.dat if you have made changes from the original KG 7.1 and want to keep them. So have fun before the big game start!!!, go to exhibition, then check AL visitor and NL Home club, check Busch Stadium and Play Ball!!!

With the 2009 All Stars Game coming soon, we have updated both league
teams for MVP according to the NL and AL rosters recently announced for
such great event. Actual rosters are composed by 33 players per team,
while MVP rosters are limited to 25, so we have shaped each team with 2
catchers, 8 infielders, 5 outfielders and 10 pitchers. While main
positions are already fixed, bench players, starter pitchers and
bullpen have been chosen taking into account best performance stats
during the present season and having some balance. Also lineups have
been conceived by myself the same way.
From last KG 7.1 roster update we have only modified roster.dat file,
specifically those lines from 752 to 801 for including both rosters.
For installation just pick this file and overwrite the one located at
EA SPORTS/MVP Baseball 2005/data/database/, or just copy the above
mentioned lines correspondingly in your roster.dat if you have made
changes from the original KG 7.1 and want to keep them. So have fun
before the big game start!!!, go to exhibition, then check AL visitor
and NL Home club, check Busch Stadium and Play Ball!!!

This version also contains all the minor leagues plus extra major league uniforms that my large Moser Uniforms roster download has. This version also contains a major update in that it has version 1.28b of the uniforms. (I uploaded this before version 1.29 was released but G-D willing the next update will contain hopefully the latest uniforms) I also did some major editing of loads of uniforms that are from uniform slots not associated with the files that KC uploaded. I also corrected some mistakes in the uniforms.big file that EA made. (preview screens that do not match the uniforms) To this version I added almost all the latest cyberfaces dated till Sept.. I did have to delete some minor league cyberfaces plus all cyberfaces from the free agents plus all MVP Legends plus many of the Heroes in order to get many of the newer cyberfaces in, seeing as my cyberface slots are as of now, completely filled. The download no longer contains the Uncle Mo cyberfaces as per his request. As you can see, this upload contains 3 other files (plus this readme & the 2nd readme). Ok... now on to the installation of these files. Simply extract the file to your main mvp 2005 folder using winrar. That's it. The extraction process will do the rest for you. Please read the COMPLETE readme before contacting me with any issues you may have in regards to this download since the readme will probably resolve any issues you may have. One warning, I do suggest reading the readme before installing since this does replace files & you may wish to backup the files it replaces BEFORE installing this download.

To this version I added cyberfaces dated till Sept.. I did have to delete some minor league cyberfaces plus all cyberfaces from the free agents plus all of the MVP Legends & most of the Heroes in order to get many of the newer cyberfaces in, seeing as my cyberface slots are as of now, completely filled. Default E.A. faces are no longer in 2x. Sorry about that, but there is nothing I can do about this. Many of the faces have been updated from the default anyway & those that have been updated in 2X are in 2X in the models.big. To this version there has been a major overhaul in the uniforms. I added for all teams main uniforms including alternates, (plus a few uniforms that are added ones) the 2x catchers gear by Spungo & updated batting helmets for many teams by pbdub. Thanks G-D & Spungo & pdub. I also fixed a problem with some cyberfaces where people were seeing the weird red & green colors instead of some faces. Faces will no longer have the red & green stuff on it because I found the corrupted faces & fixed the issue by adding in the metal bin & name binary files to the .fsh. Please read the readme. It will probably answer any questions you have about this download. If you have issues with this download & have not read the readme, then I am not to blame. Also, please before contacting me with questions about this download, try reading the readme. As I stated above, this should probably resolve any issues you may have.

Rosters (Versión Final) de la LVBP creados por DLCV v1.2 RESPALDA LA CARPETA DATABASE DEL JUEGO ANTES DE HACER CUALQUIERA DE LOS 2 MÉTODOS DE INSTALACIÓN Instruccciones (Modo fácil): Descomprime en la carpeta Database del juego los archivos dentro del .rar que se llama "Database LVBP"... La ruta de la carpeta generalmente es C:/Archivos de programa/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005/Data/Database NOTA IMPORTANTE: Si tienes algún otro roster modificado lo perderás si lo instalas de esta manera. Si no lo quieres perder deberás hacer la instalación por el modo dificil Instruccciones (Modo dificil): Los rosters fueron hechos con el MVPEdit 2006.2, asàque para la instalación de estos rosters es necesario contar con este programa. Para instalar los rosters debes abrir el MVPEdit, abrir tu base de datos (archivos .mbe) o importar la base de datos directamente del juego (forma recomendada) de la siguiente manera: - Abre el MVPEdit y en el usa el menú "File" > "Import" > "DAT Files" - Busca en la carpeta donde instalaste el juego (por lo general "C:/Archivos de programa/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005") la carpeta "Data" y luego la carpeta "Database". - Pulsa OK y aparece un cuadro de diálogo. Aquàse guardará en un solo archivo toda la base de datos de jugadores. Dale un nombre a este archivo y guárdalo. Si te dice que el archivo se sobrescribirá dile que si. - Nuevamente busca el menú "File" > "Import" > "Teams" y busca donde están los archivos descomprimidos. Selecciona UNO POR UNO el archivo del equipo que quieras añadir. Pulsa "Abrir" y ahora selecciona el equipo donde quieres ver los nuevos rosters y marca la opción "reemplazar" (replace) y selecciona los mismos equipos que usó Umachines para que los cambios se aprecien... por ejemplo: si importas a Cardenales de Lara deberás seleccionar al equipo de Scranton/WB Red Barons. Luego, pulsa OK. Repite este paso hasta que hayas importado los 8 equipos que te ofrezco en esta descarga. 2006 Stats as of 10/01/2006 UR for Ultimate Rosters 8.0 (by Totte) KG for kgbaseball's 2006 Rosters 1.3 9 files each bstats.dat (batters' stats) lhbstats.dat rhbstats.dat pstats.dat (pitchers' stats) lhpstats.dat rhpstats.dat career.dat (career stats) careerp.dat fbstats.dat (fielding stats) 1. Those other database files excluding (attrib.dat, lhattrib.dat, rhattrib.dat, pitcher.dat, roster.dat, org.dat, etc.) are also needed, and replace the 9 files above to make the stats change. All 19 .dat database files (attrib.dat, pitcher.dat, roster.dat, etc.) are necessary, or crash is possible. 2. Try importing all 19 database files (attrib.dat, roster.dat, etc.) with MVPedit and check whether the 2006 stats are updated. Export with MVPedit again only if updated. For better results, use Total Portraits and Total Audio for all portraits and several audio announcements to be available. Teams: USA (3), Dominican (2), Canada, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico, Australia Logos: In place for the 10 teams above, some are better than others, certainly open to any ideas, submissions, etc. LOC files have been updated so the names will display correctly in the game. What's in this package (PLEASE backup your original files): Roster files, put in MVPdatadatabase folder LOC files, put in MVPdata folder Logos.big, put in MVPdatafrontend folder ur3wcupbeta2.mbe - can be opened, viewed, edited, etc with MVP Edit, but not necessary for installation portrait (FSH) files - many thanks to sonickim, wedss, and HFLR for all their help with these Any player that isn't in Total Portraits has been included. Ultimate plus Big Shmooz mbe

Only use these rosters in conjunction with the models.big file I uploaded from Oct. 6th & on. Otherwise your game will crash. Also make sure to uncheck the read only on the models.big file before installing the cyberface. Do not forget to put it back into read only mode after you are finished installing the cyberface. Also, make sure that before you install new cyberfaces, that you check that they do not conflict with cyberfaces numbers I have assigned in these rosters. The reason for this is quite simple. This is because it is quite likely that those numbers are already assigned to a totally different cyberface in my models.big. If they do conflict, simply change the cyberface # (the .fsh .orl & .ord files) to the one you see already assigned in the .mbe file. I also have to thank of course Hypnoxxx for the roster & all those who helped him with it. To install cyberfaces on your own, I recommend you use eagraph.exe. If you do not know how to use eagraph.exe... just go to this site... http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=12345.html The first post has detailed instructions on how to install cyberfaces with eagraph.exe.

Portraits and Faces are going to be shared with the TC 3 pack. I have talked with some of the guys, and when TC 3 will be released I will modify this file. To install, use mvpedit. Don't be lazy, search in forums.

Krawhitham & SpanishFly LAA/LAD Mod with Roster Update 3.1
This does not re-order the Angels into their proper spot alphabetically in the game (think Washington in 2004). Please note that any roster updates will not work without this mod integrated in the roster file. For instance, if you download someone elses roster files after you install this mod, theirs will not work. So PLEASE remember to back-up your LOC files if you want to switch back. Installation: back-up LOC files and place these new ones (IGENG.LOC and FEENG.LOC) in your MVP Baseball 2005/data directory. Back-up your original DAT files then, with MVPedit, open this roster file and export. Please follow these instructions carefully. Krawhitham and SpanishFly cannot be held responsible if you ruin any files.

D.M.Z.s MVP 2005 Roster Template

This roster template is intended for anyone interested in developing their own DAT roster file. Feel free to edit anything on this roster,update it as much as desired and upload it to various websites. All I ask is that if anyone uses this roster, make reference that this is the template used to begin the project. In other words, please give me credit, for it took nearly 35+ hours to research transactions, find missing players from the patch 4 roster, edit season and career statistics and fake names as well as setting up the organizations, pitching rotations, lineups, jersey numbers etc. All roster information was accumulated from mlb.com or cbs.sportsline.com. The following is what was done to the 2005 default roster. Happy Modding. D.M.Z. version 1.2 -changed faces, skin tone, hair style and facial hair for the following players: Brendan Donnelly, Tom Martin, Kevin Millar, Brian Daubach, Damian Miller, Jose Flores, Matt Herges, Cory Lidle, Shane Spencer, Kerry Ligtenberg, Justin Miller, Lou Merloni, Ron Mahay, Charles Gipson, Eddie Oropesa. thanks pstrickert added Matt Miller to Cleveland AAA from Free Agents and Marty Cordova to Tampa Bay from Free Agents. version 1.1 -changed all imported 2004 players faces because the 2004 faces do not exist or were completely wrong. thanks krawhitham version 1.0 -Imported all 240 players from the 2004 MVP Baseball patch 4 that were missing on the 2005 default rosters, including retired/japan players. (Nearly all 240 players portraits that were hidden in the portrait big file, now appear in the game.) -Updated 2004 statistics for missing imported players who played in the majors in 2004. -Set 2003 statistics for the imported players to 0 values for those that didn't play on the majors in 2004. -Kept the career stats for all of the 240 imported players. -Renamed all non-MLBPA pseudo names to real names. (Added 2004 season statistics to each of the players). -Renamed all Baseball America top prospects pseudo names to their real names. (I used Horys i.d. list for these players, all other i.d.s were assigned by E.A.) -All remaining fake players were renamed as 'fake, fake' for organizational purposes and their jersey numbers changed to 0. -Every player on this roster has been created by EA. I did not create a single player for the template. (that is where you come in). -No players from the default 2005 roster or the imported players from the 2004 patch were edited except Ivan "pudge" Rodriguez weight. -All 40 man roster players and spring training invitees have updated jersey numbers. -MLB level has only players from current 40 man rosters. AAA level contains additional 40 man roster players as well as most spring training invitees. -A few players (primarily younger players) were moved to AA to compensate for over-filled AAA rosters. -projected mlb lineups from cbs.sportsline.com. -Roster current as of March 2, 2005. -No Errors appear when clicking on options in MVP Edit under check errors. -Fake players that appear on the free agent list substitute for unlocked legends in the game. (These fake players show in the game but not in mvp edit. MVP edit shows the 11 legends that EA put on the Free Agent list). Once the legends are unlocked, they will appear instead of the fake players. (11 players total) Installation The MBE File: -Just extract the mbe file into the mvp edit directory and open the file in mvp edit. When exporting the roster to the game from mvp edit, make sure the DAT directory is Mvp Baseball 2005/Data/database. The DAT Files: -Extract the files into C/program files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball/data/database -Although I have had no problems, to cover myself, I accept no responsibility for problems that may occur with use of file.
