  1. That's the only way to get a legit copy
  2. You can only buy a legal copy of MVP Baseball 2005 through Amazon. I know it's pretty expensive, unfortunately.
  3. big names, with some smaller names thrown in the mix
  4. I have the style guide PSD if you're curious oh yeah, WELCOME BACK BRO
  5. Wait, we're talking about two entirely different things. BSU-FAN has a 2015 roster up already.
  6. http://www.hardballtimes.com/the-physics-of-baseball-in-super-slow-motion/ Great article.   now my hands hurt.
  7. Single A teams are not featured in MLB 2K12.
  8. Definitely the superglobal update. It improves the jersey wrinkles in ways 2K could never touch on initial release.
  9. Welcome back, man! There isn't really any compilation package that you can download. For jerseys, Total Uniforms 2K13 is a good start and just update the unis piece by piece from last season and this season. Anything recently uploaded is quality work. For equipment and stuff, check out the superglobal 1.21 update that was released a while back. As for stadiums, anything recently uploaded (which you can sort) is quality work. A lot of stuff that is recently uploaded/updated is still good.
  10. It's been disabled until we can make it as robust as it was before. It'll be back up soon.
  11. Twitter/Facebook
  12. I personally set proper security measures in place to prevent bullshit accounts from being created on April 20th. There is a spam guard in place along with a collective list of IPs and domain names banned for registration use as I've seen people use temporary email addresses to register and get an email validated. Speaking of validating emails, I've set the account validation time from 30 days to 7 days. If you register for the site and your account is not validated via email in 7 days, your account gets deleted and you have to re-register.                              As of the evening of April 22nd, there has not been an incident yet of account spamming, because the new system in place is working/learning. Well, not exactly. I had to merge the account of two users, but that's fine. To handle account situations, which are strangely popular, MVPMods has two social media avenues (Facebook and Twitter) to address users at any time during the day aside from the catch-all email it has always had. Availability to everyone with any account issues has always been a big deal and continues to be.  I outlined specifically what our site offers as a guest message to anyone who wishes to register. I emphasized the fact that our content is free to download and it's free to register, and I revamped the guidelines and registration terms to clearly indicate that multiple accounts are frowned upon and we will let you know via a PM if we discover that your account is a dupe. If it is, we'll give you the option of deleting the old account or merging it with your new one. Let me be clear and say that my end-game is not to outright ban a user from accessing our site but to retain them with our best judgement and maintain an orderly community. Blatant disregard for the rules definitely gets you banned but my first initial step as your admin is to clearly communicate the site rules with our users. In other words, don't be a dick and everything will be alright.    Every day is an amnesty day. If you have a duplicate account, we're always here for you to let us know.
  13. I just saw the cover art for this song, I now want to see the Kung Fury film more than ever
  14. When you log out, attempt to register. The part that says "I agree to the terms of service and the privacy poilcy" are the registration rules.
  15. I wouldn't be too serious about this though considering there are no actual "perks" associated with a duplicate account anymore other than being a nuisance for Staff. There are procedures in place to discourage this behavior and there are many ways to contact any one of us before even registering. I reworded the registration rules just so I'm clear.
  16. WHAT? You take that back if you knew what was good for you.
  17. Contacting the site via social media has been a measure that has just now been implemented, and it's important that new members know this, as well as "new" and older members who may not know. If visitors believe to have an existing account on the site, they understand exactly why they are re-registering, which is most likely to be because of the circumstances I listed in the post above. People don't always want to visit the site exclusively for the mods though, but that's a long term goal I'm looking to achieve for the site down the line. These new procedures will take time to take effect but as long as they're made clear now and they're in place now, there shouldn't be any misunderstandings.
  18. What about a scenario like this: What if you knew you were a registered member of MVPMods from years back, but you forgot your username/login information? What if you no longer had access to the email you registered with for MVPMods?  You can't get a password recovery email because you don't have access to that email address anymore. You probably don't even know the alias you made for the site, and even if you did, you still can't get a new password. Would you rather wait for the entire process of emailing a catch-all email that will probably be checked by a staff member once a day or something (not everyone is as vigilant to email than say...a text, facebook notification or a tweet) to get the issue resolved, or would you just re-register a new alias which will send out a validation email and you can join the community right away, hoping you'll just cross that bridge (about the duplicate account) when you come to it? These things can happen, and it's happened to me on a different forum site many many years ago. To circumvent this we have two social media presences on both Twitter and Facebook to help people out if emailing takes too long and doesn't work. There were always procedures in place to discourage duplicate accounts, but what works is the right procedure and how you implement it, because as I know for sure, there will never be a way to stop them from happening.
  19. His content is also posted on OperationSports as well.
  20. As some of you know, I LOVE the 80s, but this video is on a whole other level. SO GOOD.
  21. kyleb has a roster ready with the upcoming MVP 15 mod
  22. I don't think it's likely that would happen considering the game is a yearly iteration.
  23. No need to, Blablabla. The file is up and working properly.
  24. I hope the forum restructuring doesn't freak anyone out.  The site guidelines have been revamped and should reflect more modern rules and procedures. http://www.mvpmods.com/guidelines/
  25. It's in the pipeline, friend. This site upgrade is a massive overhaul of our content system.
