  1. It only works with XP. Honestly I'm not entirely sure how you even got it running.
  2. By far the easiest way is to hire an artist to hand paint a picture of what you see
  3. yeah editing the program is going to be difficult if not impossible without the source code. It's been over a decade since I've seen him in the forums.
  4. The only issue to keep an eye out for is that the license is legit. But once you find a license, the next thing to do is back up your files. If you have any programs installed, make sure you have the keys for them, and the installation files. Next you will want to find all of the current drivers for all of the hardware on your computer.
  5. They do push for it, so getting a license for 7 isn't super cheap since you have to get it second hand now. I'm not aware of any legit sites to get it from anymore except Amazon. It was around $100 last time I checked.
  6. It's not too difficult to upgrade to 7 if you want help walking through it. But it is pretty outdated, and for the cost of the OS itself, you might be better just getting a used computer with it already licensed.
  7. Seagate, and WD are decent. There really aren't any in the HDD that are far and above the rest. As for the second question, it'll be more difficult than you think. Sure it's possible, but it might not be worth the headache with what you have to do to make it work. The other option is to start fresh and just dual boot from one drive. But again, that is a lot of work. Is there a reason why you are hanging on to Vista? I just can't think of any reasons to keep Vista over 7. 7 is like the better version of Vista in almost every single way.
  8. I don't see an issue with crediting the modder that made it. But the reality is that a lot of them don't even know who made them. I've seen many of my faces modded here and on other sites without any credit and found that they didn't know I made them.
  9. Let me know how it goes.
  10. Gotcha. Yeah I've never gotten it working on 10 either. I still use xp and 7.
  11. I don't recall ever seeing that. did you try reinstalling .net framework? what OS are you on?
  12. you can do that too. I just wanted to let you know it was possible if you wanted to do it. the mod i have going has all uniform slots filled at the mlb level and then some. as long as you keep the models.big below 680mb it doesn't crash. TIT just knows how to install all of the files if you name them correctly. It's how kraw programmed it. you have to name the files to their slots. here's a screen shot of what i have for the Mariners.
  13. yeah with TIT, it's really easy because you only need to save the portraits in .bmp files. you just need to make sure that the extension is all lowercase.
  14. oedit is the only known tool to do so.
  15. yeah it's the same issue. the mods i've worked on have include all uniform slots filled at the mlb level with no issues. the only tool i've found that installs it correctly is TIT.
  16. what tool do you use to install uniforms? there is a way to fit more than 10. You can actually fill all 15 slots for all teams at the mlb level.
  17. what kind of issues are you having with the size of the uniform selections?
The original face was not in the game. It's the face I made for Brian McCann and you added glasses to it.
  18. I want to be in charge of cyberfaces. The quality was really turned up through modding.
  19. If you figure it out, definitely let everyone know. Editing the audio files was never an issue. It was getting it to actually work in game that was the issue. Or maybe it was the stadium audio files I'm confusing.
  20. Yeah completely portable. Except Windows 10. Nothing works with Windows 10. Just copy the entire game folder. I have mine on a jump drive with the isos. So when I switch to a different computer, it just needs daemon tools lite or something to mount the isos, and the game works fine. But yes, you should back up those files.
  21. I've used my iso for years. It's helped preserve the original cds. I've never used a cloud machine so I can't say how the game will work on those systems, so you'll have to test it to see. But as far as making an iso, it shouldn't be an issue. Once you install the game, it's completely portable. It takes up so little room that you can even put it on a jump drive.
  22. Yeah pretty much. But I am a bit of a perfectionist, so I keep a folder with all of my updated uniforms and cyberfaces. Whenever I update them, I use a stock models.big file and install the entire pack. Over time, the models.big can become corrupt for a number of reasons.
  23. It's not that simple. Back when we were really active, there used to be one official thread that updated id's for portraits and cyberfaces. When modders made faces, we would number them based on that list. Thus when I released a big face pack, I could update the entire game for the entire year. The catch was that there was also someone updating a roster to correlate with this. As long as we had the id list and roster that updated with it, then the facepacks would work just fine. The issue you will have copying the models.big from one mod to the next is that it can cause crashing if the roster isn't compatible with the face id's.
  24. I made that Chuck Knoblauch face. I really don't mind if you use my mods, but it's just proper etiquette to give credit to the modder if it's not your original work. Plus if you had asked me, I would've told you that I already made a clean shaven version. Use this if you want. I find that the texture is more detailed. 0000.bmp I also made a texture for Scott Brosius, but I haven't had a chance to find a decent shape to model it to. If you want to try to find a good fit, here it is. 0000.BMP
