The changes are as follows; Pro Player Stadium is replaced by Dolphin Stadium. Network Associates Coliseum is replaced by McAfee Coliseum. SkyDome is replaced by Rogers Centre. Potomac Cannons are replaced by Potomac Nationals. Anaheim Angels are replaced by Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. ANA is replaced by LAA. Norwich Navigators are replaced by Connecticut Defenders. NOW is replaced by CON. Salt Lake Stingers are replaced by Salt Lake Bees. Bank One Ballpark is replaced by Chase Field. SBC Park is replaced by AT&T Park. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons are replaced by Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. Lakeland Tigers are replaced by Lakeland Flying Tigers. Vero Beach Dodgers are replaced by Vero Beach Devil Rays. Tampa Bay Devil Rays are replaced by Tampa Bay Rays. Wichita Wranglers are replaced by Northwest Arkansas Naturals. WIC is replaced by NWA. Ottawa Lynx is replaced by Lehigh Valley IronPigs. OTT is replaced by LHV. RFK Stadium is replaced by Nationals Park. Jacobs Field is replaced by Progressive Field. To install, simply copy the FEENG.LOC and IGENG.LOC files from this update into your MVP Baseball data directory. When you next view these stadiums and teams in-game, you should see the corrected names of the stadiums and teams.     ** Create backups of your datadatafile.txt and datafrontendminigame.big files ** Extract contents into your root MVP directory. Tested with MVP 94, 07, and Total Classics 08. Release 1.2 uses the 07 datafile as a base, please be aware that all your batting/fielding cameras will default as such in exhibition and league play. See below for instructions on how to retain your existing datafile. I have included a file called datafile changes, which includes all the lines of code needed to install this into an existing datafile.txt, as most if not all people will want to retain their existing datafile.txt. Simply copy and replace this over the corresponding lines of code in your datafile.txt. ============================================================ To uninstall, simply replace both the datafile.txt and minigame.big files with your backed up versions. ** If you did not have a datafile.txt in the data directory before the installation of this mod, simply delete this file and it will default to the datafile.txt in the datafile.big. Then choose settings: Choose VP60R Simple Profile(The "configure" on the side allows you to set the bitrate to 2000~) Then click "ok". Then choose video->FrameRate Enable "change to (xxx) frames per second(enter 30 for the red xxx)" Then click "ok". Next is the audio settings~ choose audio and select "Full Processing Mode" Audio->Conversion, and set audio quality to 44100Hz~, audio source set to 16-bit, Audio Type as "stereo", then select "ok" Then choose File->Save as AVI, and save as AVI file. After compression, open "Vp6Encoder" Use Input File Browse to open the avi file you just finish compressed. Use Output File Browse to select a file you wish to save to after processing. Then click on "Convert". Wait for the red status bar to finish, it will generate a VP6 file. Rename the VP6 file name to "mvpintro" or a matching video file name.     This sav. is a start in spring training dynasty sav with kg's newest rosters. You can change teams with MVPeditor. PM me if you want ultimate rosters and ill make one. Fixed schedule issue. Now regular season is 2007 schedule. If anybody wants to know how i did it, pm me. ok, this should be the last update until i make the ultimate rosters version.   7. Initstaz.zip

    The thing is as UncleMo discovered, the initstaz.big that comes in the package will cause the game to crash. This download when installed to the data folder will overwrite the previous corrupt file & the game will then run fine. I corrected the problem for the next version of the download so there will be no need to reinstall this file once the next version comes out G-D willing. Installation instructions... Unzip to your main MVP baseball 2005 folder. That's it. P.S. this update is the same. I only corrected a typo in the instructions & corrected which section this download is stored in. Those who already downloaded this have no need to download it again.

    v.1.2 : Yankee Stadium - Removed dirt from coaches' boxes and on deck circles Jacobs Field - Touched up patterns for day and night versions Dodger Stadium - Fixed missing texture in day version v.1.1 : Fixed issue with dirt in AT&T Park Various color adjustments made to the following stadiums: Yankee Stadium (day & nite) U.S. Cellular Field (day & nite) McAfee Col./Cisco Field (day only) Petco Park (day & nite) This mod will update the field graphics for all 30 MLB stadiums in the game. Both the infield dirt and grass have been changed for all stadiums and certain ones have a recolored warning track and on deck circles etc. All modifications that were made should closely resemble the correct colors for that particular stadium. The most important thing about this mod however, is that it is low-res meaning it shouldn't cause memory issues and that it is 90% shimmer free, a huge improvement over the original EA grass. The MVP 07 mod is required for this installation and can be downloaded at MVPMods.com or EAMods.com Before installing remember to backup your entire stadium folder in the MVP data folder. To install run the field_changer.exe and follow the instructions as prompted. This is just an easy way for you to fix your game w/o going through the hassle of editing the controller.cfg and again.. ENJOY! (1/15/2007) -Hi guys, Having started college, I do not have the time that I used to have. So I will try to fix whatever suggestion you may have. Thanks, sjbushido -I also adjusted the pickoff which seems to have been a problem for some people. It should be Numpad0 and the arrow corresponding to the appropriate base; for example, Right arrow = first base, Up arrow = 2nd base, etc. - Intentionally Walk = Numpad 9 - Intentionally Hit Batter = Numpad 3

    This will update the horrible looking dirt and grass ea made. With much better textures in hi res. UPDATE: Fixes Spots and crash issues ANd includes 3 installers. ONe with -40 Contrast which will rerduce the shimmering some people with lower computer specs are having but will lower grass quality, -80 contrast that will severly lower the grass texture but no shimmering will happen if you have a 1995 computer lol. ANd of course THE HI RES version Grass and Dirt Special thanks: ChicagoCubs720 for testing the mod and supplying me with a good dirt file frim hh2004 so that I can make my dirt texture using that file.And to everyone at mvpmods.com. Without you guys this all would not be possible. Thanks for all your support and appreciation for my work. It makes everything worth it. So you choose what you want for realism of your game. I also included a very detailed readme with pics for those who do not know how to use nfshtool. DO NOT OPEN THE README FILE USING NOTEPAD. Special Thanks to Trues for adding the dirt to my bases. Krawhitham for trying to make the installer but I don’t think it worked out. ChicagoCubs720 for testing the mod.     This mod will allow your player progressions to be altered. Younger players evolve quicker, players degrade as they age. Talent continues to stay in the game now and it regenerates itself. Stadiums have new sliders done. Contracts now allow for long term deals to be signed by players, depending on what age, and what level of talent they are. Now also, minor leaguers sign for cheaper. Older players settle for short term deals as well. Now in the latest update, all things for rookies have been updated, so the talent level coming into the game is much better. Please leave feedback and comments on how to improve or if you just think the mod is cool.
